Alternative camera apps? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Anyone try any good camera apps?
I like the stock HTC camera app. The panoramic is nice and so is best shot.
Procapture is nice. Nice panoramic and working touch focus.

Any other good suggestions?

I always used Vignette as my default camera app on my og Evo, but honestly, with this new phone, the stock app works so good and I am able to get some good effects with it that I stick with the stock app now.

[Q] Camera app for Android?

Can anyone recommend a camera app that will be usable when my battery goes below 15%? The app that comes with my Vibrant stops working at that point. Also is there a photo manipulating app that is good? Thanks!
Vignette

Any good 3rd party camera apps with timers?

While the HTC camera app has timers for both front and rear cams I was wondering if anyone is using a better alternative. The HTC camera app is kinda lacking but it has timers, would be nice to have the best of both worlds.
anyone?

Tap-to-Focus Camera

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a camera that well-supports tap to focus?
I'm usually back and forth between CM9 and CM10 and I use either the stock Camera in Cyanogen or Camera ICS+ and neither of them seem to support tap-to-focus. I can only choose Auto, Infinity, or Macro and can't adjust the focus manually so I've had so much trouble getting pictures of text properly focused.
I just wanted to know if anyone had a recommendation for a solid camera in Jelly Bean/ICS. I know the stock Samsung camera supports it but the application is garbage otherwise and I don't use the stock ROM.

Are you talking about just having it focus in the middle? Tap the screen and it will focus
Or do you mean being able to focus on a certain area of the picture? I want to be able to focus on an area. I believe the touchwiz camera does that but I haven't had a touchwiz rom in a long time......
I did find that camera 360 does it.
Which is an ok app but it's a bit hinky in many regards.
Anyone know of any other apps that do this?
I found this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.starvingmind.android.shotcontrol
It has the function (see the yellow squares in the first pic) but they aren't active on my phone. I'm running a AOSP ICS rom.
I'm wondering if it works on a touchwiz ICS ROM?
I suppose the odds are slim someone has the app and is on one of those roms.
I guess I'll flash one and quickly see and report back.
Shot control ita the best professional camera app out there

Any idea why the touchwiz camera can do the focus but shot control can't. I sent the developer the configuration and it says those are turned off.

Stock JB Camera & TW Camera

Is there a way to get the job camera to record videos at a higher fps like the tw camera does? Its the only thing I hate about the job camera app.

Great Camera App for AOSP ROMs. Working HDR!!!!!

Found this in the market last night and bought it for 99¢… its also on XDA for free but I gladly bought it. Try it out. Won't be disappointed.

It does nothing different than the normal camera app. Yes, the standard camera app also does HDR. In fact your link clearly states it. It is a modified Android 4.2 camera for Android 2.3+.
If you use the cm camera and HDR it looks horrid to me. I can take an HDR pic with the Google edition camera and it looks great. Same picture with the CM camera come out so dark you can't see it. This one comes out the same as the Google Edition camera but actually works on AOSP. So to me and apparently others it is a nice camera.

This. It seems AOSP cam is only keeping the low light portion of the HDR shot. With this app you can also manipulate your storage location, change the fps on video recording, keep the originals of your HDR shot before processing, etc. Its a killer app and has rounded out the features on AOSP for me.

All this and more. The AOSP camera HDR setting is dark and produces sub par pictures for my taste. This is a great alternative. Was missing the pop that TW camera software gave you with the HDR setting.
Love your username. LoL
