I don't know and I don't care, it almost ruined my stock ICS because of it's weak profile management.
I seriously advice everybody to refrain from using it. It's better to turn off stuff right after you finished using it.

Can some developer make a flashable mod to remove the damn camera lock. I hate when I use my camera and hit the lock button and throw it in my pocket only to discover 4 hours later that the screen was on and my battery is dead.
Thanks!

I would actually love for someone to remove the camera disable at 15%....that annoys the crap out of me.

Yeah, not being able to take clutch pictures with low batt sucks.

What about a camera app that would take pics with power button and let you take pictures with less than 5% battery?
Head over to i9000 themes and apps . Is there somewhere

This is EXACTLY 100% what I want. To remove the battery lock and to use the Power button to snap shots. I would love to know where this is for our phones.

It's pretty easy to get rid of the camera being disabled when there is low battery, I think I modified one line in the "AbstractCameraActivity.smali".
However, the camera lock issue involves a little more work. I was actually attempting to change the power button from locking it to it being the same as hitting the shutter button, but I was stubborn and didn't like the results. I had it working, but the code for it wasn't pretty enough for me
Wondering if anyone knows where I can obtain a utility or hack to adjust the automatic brightness settings? In a dark or dim room, the brightness on auto is much higher than I need.
There were a few hacks available for windows smartphones to do this, but I haven't found any for Android/HTC. Found one specifically for the droid-x but don't think it works for us.
Been wondering on something like this also

CM7 has options to fine tune how auto brightness works.
^ Shift Faced
confirmed to work for me. I've adjusted mine in CM7 just the way I like.
Question to somebody else who has done it. Is it showing 1 colum having -1 on the buttons box? I noticed only one setting I cant turn off the 4 bottom lights because it doesnt let you change the -1 to a 0...

I'm right along with you. I just looked at it and then slowly backed out because I didn't want to mess anything up and I'm usually all for pressing buttons to see what happens.

I'll bump for this as well. I've always wanted to understand how to adjust the auto brightness in CM7, but I've searched around and haven't found any info on it.

try adding this to your build.prop
net.bt.timeout=never
or
net.bt.timeout=
leave after the = sign blank to the second one to leave it nulled e.g never time out
hopefully they work

Hi,
Sorry for "hacking" this thread, I was wondering whether it is possible to hack a Bluetooth so as to be able to connect two external Bluetooth speakers of different brands (JBL & Ultimate Ears).
Thank you.
My question is when you change the settings in the init.qcom.post_boot.sh for overclocking, an then you reboot your phone... Do you have to use a program such as SetCPU to make that active? Or does it automatically run at that speed when you are using the phone?
Thanks in advance..

No need for a separate program. It's active based on what you set in the file.

Not all sys info software actually checks. Sometimes they just reflect the defaults. My software shows me at 1701 on Meanrom.

So another question! When changing the "PERFORMANCE" part on line 30 to "BATTERY" does anyone notice that it does not save as BATTERY when you restart the phone and view the same file?

Hey guys maybe you will know. I keep reading everywhere that Sense 4+ has power saver mode and I have seen it on multiple screenshots under the Battery option under settings. When I look under Battery on my DNA I am not seeing this option. Is this something that just runs all the time in the background on the DNA?

I must be going crazy, I had a menu button that said "Power Saver" right above the "Usage" button.
No I think you're right. I remember seeing one, which is why it's driving me insane trying to find it. It keeps disconnecting my data at night, making my skype useless (I like to stay up late). I think an update to the software actually got rid of the option. Because I remember seeing it before.
I know viper has the power saver in there Rom never seen it outside of the viper Rom without being rooted
