Does anyone know of any application that uses the floating touch of xperia sola??
I saw a video where the phone was inside a box and they draw in the screen while the box was closed...but the only way I know to use this, is with the animated theme and with the integrated browser...
Hope that at least sony creates something to use it...

i was playing with my fren samsung vibrant...i notice it can sweep anywhere to unlock the screen...it kinda cool and convenient i think..specially when we use the phone with one hand..is thr any apps or theme that allow us to do like tat?or any rom developer can create such thing?
I haven't seen this posted anywhere but I tried many keyboards where I can use them to type emoji anywhere but I dont like them I would like the original ICS keyboard or the samsung keyboard with emoji (because I have an S 2).
Hasn't anyone thought of addin it in the encoding in a way if I recieve any emoji in msgs or any other app it would appear instead of boxs ?
Am planning to fill this gap after I learn coding until then we will see...

I'm not a dev or anything but I think the main problem is that even if you can encode your keyboard to support emoji, anyone whose phone doesn't support those wouldn't see them properly. So it's not really practical for devs to make the effort to mod one of the default keyboards if most people won't use the feature anyways.
I think this is going to have to be a challenge you'll have to take down on your own if it bothers you that much.

I believe the messenger app has an option of supporting additional emoji in the conversations. It's just a matter of checking it. It worked wonders for me, since I text an iPhone friend very often.
Sometimes the option is not there though.

I dont see the emotions from my iphone friends sometimes, am gona mod it for the s 2 and many people have that phone, also am the type who uses many emotions so I think am gona mod it .

Install GO SMS Pro & GO Keyboard
Install GO SMS Pro Emoji Plugin and GO Keyboard Emoji Plugin
Download this - http://db.tt/TqE4xip8
put it in system\fonts using a rooted file explorer (ES File Explorer)
REBOOT
WIN!! You have emoji!

1>To Keep The Dazzling Light Bubble On The Playing Bar In The Widget
2>To Use The Original Xperia S Widget Skin (Either GB or ICS One)

Is it possible to use Walkman Widget (modded probably - is there any...?) whith other launchers?
As far as I can tell, this is damn near impossible to do. There are MANY requests for this on other threads where other devices use the walkman app, but noone has got it working correctly yet. I assume it can be done, but it may require an entire rewriting of the widget itself. It just isnt worth it.

Well IDK much about android developing! but the apk i've found on the web is preety ok with NON ROOTED...it replaces the original...like a skin and you can use it,can u (or anyone) change just the skin on the given one!!!...well i really really like it to be there...u can guess!:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
I have an .apk file that I need to be resized to fit my note i717 screen. I took this .apk from a Android tv box. When I install the apk on my note it crops out some of the screen and I cant use it.
I read there are ways I can make the .apk fit an all android devices.
I am not a developer. I do not know how to do this. I will pay if someone can do this for me or provides me with a solution.

I'll do some research and report back...ID suggest looking at how the PA and Hybrid ROMs offered up here handle layout and DPI. The PA ROM offers options for layout. Check that out.

Is this even possible? i was just told its not possible to resize an apk.

So so far I like this update(love remote play but I am struggling to understand who at sony thought having massive icons was a great idea.
So what I eant to know is if their is any mod to scale them back a bit like they were before?
Its simply not feasible with this scale and everyhting looks zoomed up.
