I can confirm data works out of the box, and I'm with Wind Mobile.
I couldn't open the Play Store app that came with the ROM, and I couldn't add a google account under account.
This can be solved by flashing google apps. Now I'm all set. Thanks! :good:

The 4G/HSPA+ sign may not be present on the phone for me, but the data does work from time to time.
Update: the funny thing is that I'm unable to open webpages (sometimes), yet it works with XDA app.

Your first boot will take an unimaginably long time. After that, your device will continue to run slowly until the application cache is built up. Don't worry, the speed will increase as you use the ROM!

Where's my bloatware?
Alien deletes unnecessary bloatware that can be replaced by better applications in the Android Market. If you'd like the bloatware back, you can download the "bloatware.zip" from the download website.
Why is my battery life bad?
Your battery life is often killed when flashing ROMs in CWM. For the best battery life, you must drain your device’s battery until it turns off. Plug the device into the AC adapter and let it charge till the image says 100% charged. Then turn it on and use the volume buttons to boot into CWM. Click Wipe Battery Stats under the advanced menu. Then you should charge to 100% and install the ROM. Battery life should be comparable to (if not better than) every other ROM based on 4.5.25.
Why is my data not working?
Networking problems are most often caused by: improper radios, improper kernels (WiFi), the new Android Market, syncing, or international issues. Try flashing the old Android Market below.
Why is there no 4G?
As of now, the unlocked bootloader file disables 4G WiMAX. This issue is not caused or fixed by the ROM.

Almost all of the screenshots were taken using the Android SDK tools. But, one or two were taken with "Screenshot It."

I took out a number of applications from the ROM. The bloatware zip allows users to bring back the deleted applications.
This rom is based off of our last leak with 4.0.3 ICS with features from the popular Gummy Nexus rom for Samsung Galaxy S.... i removed almost every sense component from the system so close it is almost aosp.... do not try to add any sense features back by yourself because they will most likely not work.....

EDIT: Got it working yay!
After adding google account, calendar and talk force close every 10 sec, even though I turned off sync on it. Visually it looks really nice though. Would love to see it again when everything is working.

Yeah it's actually pretty awesome. I love the "Gummy Settings," there's some nice little goodies in there. Haha
Is anyone else missing Gmail? Looks like it was in data, added into system/app and am golden now.
Nice rom, but way too many things not working. No gmail, system ui keeps crashing, calender stops working error every 3 seconds. I am sure you are very hard at work on this, keep it up, it is a great step in the right direction. Would love to have this as my daily rom.

I think he put the Gmail.apk in data/app on accident not sure? All you have to do is put it into /system/app and you'll have Gmail. Turn sync off on calander and you won't have that issue at all. Sytemui generally only crashes during calls for me, but not all the time. I am not sure on how to fix this one.

This app is still unstable on Newts one xxx. Works for like 1/2 a day , then will either not take a picture with the photo button or just automatically close. Clearing cache and dalvik is only way to get it working again.
Also messes up other camera apps when this one crashes - ics camera , pro camera, etc.
Love newts rom, but camera has to get fixed!

I've been on OneXxX with this cam for a week and it's been working fine for me so far. It didn't work great at first but I cleared cache and dalvik and fixed permissions and it's been working fine since. Only thing I've found that doesn't work is slow motion vid but I think that is a know bug.

Do it in recovery. I use AmonRa. Clear the caches first then go to the "other" menu and fix permissions. Could be a coincidence but it worked for me. Also don't forget to turn off face detection if you haven't already.

Good we have a proper thread now though. I assume any updates to the build we can flash on top rather than clean every time?

Yeah bluetooth is still dead unfortunately. I flashed my build that enabled ambient display over a previous build I made (unreleased) and it worked fine.

Stock kernel currently. You can flash AK cm12 build if you want however.

I added bugs to op. Thank you! Awesome guys at CM did most of the work however.

Hopefully the fix for bluetooth isn't too far off, My moto 360 isn't happy lol

Already booted and running. Rom is buttery smooth and everything that should be working is working. LTE/Data is functional on the first boot. NFC still borked. GPS locked with no issues. Bluetooth with my Moto 360 appears to be working as it should be. Only thing I've seen so far that's kinda weird is with the DPI. If you look in the top right of the posted photo, the DPI has the buttons in the settings area super tiny. Otherwise it's totally on-par with CM12 right now. Nice work! Can't wait to see what direction this one will go in!
Edit: Instead of saying "no sim card" the lockscreen now says, "SIM/RUIM IS PERSO LOCKED - SPRINT". I find that funnier, somehow. Lol

Is screen cast broken in all of cm 12 builds? It work from the chrome cast app but not from the pull down
Does this support GSM network ???
Gonna try this out later today! Hoping no contact or dialer fcs.

I tried to Flash the Candy Rom tried Network App and tried to change the network to GSM and unfortunately It just keeps flickering and its not able to select GSM so I am hoping this is how CM12 Roms would act up. I guess reporting this issue to CM team they may find a fix.
