Today.. I am taking pictures work great! Fast and clear.. I decided to make video recording using my lww wt19i. After pressing the shutter botton my screen hang ang a pop up message said. "camera not available" please help.
The last mod i install to my device is from this thread..

This can happend for example when is diode on by other app. Do you just try restart?

i dont understand.. what newer version..
i found out that even still camera is hang up.. sometimes..
i am reverting back my phone now to GB.. i dont like ics and being rooted.. thers so many bugs i found.
There is many mods versions. Which one you use? I now install version 6 and works normal. IMO i dont see nothing big bug for me in ics.

I'm on stock ics and I do think though that it IS A BUG caused by your mods, not the stock

i dont have any modes done to my camera.. the last mod i install is a toolbar from a thread.. i read the whole tread but nothing comments that their camera hang up..
i am on gb now and everything els works fine..
So read it again. On 13.6 tony.cool write about same bug and fixed mod work for him.

1-When u set pattern or PIN lock then sometimes slide to unlock appears automatically before that (some users)
2- whenever u restart ur phone then disabled apps automatically gets enabled(some users)
3- if u set only 3g or 2g network then after reboot dual mode gets selected automatically
4- camera still lags :-/
5-battery drains faster dan b4
6-led for sms not fixed
7-FB Music like giving time out error
First I thought its happening only with me but after searching I found that these problems are actually BUGS and almost every1 who updated to new firmware are facing this problems(problems can vary with users).
so IMO dont update ur phone with this update it sux.

1. Tested that, It still works like the previous updates. And based on your 'sentence' that doesn't happen to me.
2. Tested that, disabled apps from performance assistant/freezed apps from titanium still are disabled after many reboots so I'm not sure what you are whining about.
4. Doesn't lag for me, if not smoother it's the same as before.
6. Confirmed already it doesn't work.

Not everyone will face all above mentioned bugs but I think you are Lucky coz I also updated my friends Xperia pro on different pc with pc companion n guess what he is also facing this bugs... And i said disabling apps from settings not from performance assistant 2- not smoother= lag.
R u on stock kernel?? Coz u r using titanium backup... Plz check ur phone again after sometime n tell ur experience

'Disabling' apps from settings? You mean stopping the apps from the settings? You're not supposed to do that on Android. Yes stock 587 rooted.

I think u didn't get me... goto apps n disable any stock app like gmap n reboot ur phone.
n I think u r on stock Rom but with custom kernel.. is m ri8??

*facepalm* lol disabling apps from performance assistant/titanium backup/settings/even on play store are the same & it didn't caused any problems. I'm on pure stock kernel/rom atm.

ohhhk buddy now I think it happen only with some users coz my 2 lww n Xperia pro has this bug even after flashing on different pcs 4 times :-/
1-dont have
2-dont have
3-yup..but i reboot my phone once in a year so no problem for me
4- Camera LAGS !!!!!!!!!!!!! omg its 2x better than 4.1.b.0.431
5-it drains fast , but not faster than before .. install juicedefender and it will drain slowly
6-install from play store an application called smsawake , it makes your led notification work when you receive sms
7-its the application problem , look at all the reviews for FB application at the play store .. they all rate it 1 stars , 2 stars

look at talk.sonymobile.com everyone(with me) is reporting problem with this new update I just posted that bugs here n I didn't said that everyone will face all this bugs. n ya we can fix some problems manually but dont u guys think that this needs to be fixed by Sony afterall its their job

Yes, i agree with you, Sony take 3 ICS update and the main important problem SMS LED still not fix. I can't belive that, what they're doing. SONY even not as good as SONY ERICSSON. We can see SE with GB rom is smooth and no bugs, but what we have after Sony with ICS rom.
is the thumbnail corruption bug fixed? (setting camera to 5mp corrupts thumbnails on pc and in quickpic)

It doesn't work for Whatsapp for esample ^^ And I think that this is a very stupid problem, and Sony could fix that, why do they waste money for a bugged ROM? I can understand the first ICS, but this 587..
Sms LED notification, is working for me, it always has.... lol. Im not facing any of the above problems, phone is so smooth dialer etc even when i set cpu on 806mhz.

I need help .
When i open contact app everything is fine
But when i switch to the phone dialer it force close and cant sync my contacts with google , whatsapp etc
I use stock phonebook.apk and semcphone.apk
i want to publish this rom but these problems must be fix but i dont know how to do that. This problem is new for me ,because i hadnt those problems before

Why lose hope! If you post in a Rom building thread or port Rom thread,I believe you'd get some help!
That'll help you gain some knowledge too! Or else pm some dev who have made a Rom for our device!

I flashed xperia v media apps 2 days ago.Everything is working fine but walkman crashes again and again.I cleared its data but it didn't solved the problem.
How can I solve this problem?

Yeah I solved it.
Go to settings>>>Developer Options>>>Background Process Limit=3 (or more).Now it will not crash.

Hi,if so others are still having the crashing prob..try going all apps n disable musicfx and friendsmusic and then reboot..I did it n it has not yet crashed..

the problem still persists as when i limit the background prices to 3 and reboot the phone, it automatically changes the limit of processes to standard limit. How can i permanently change it?

Phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo MT15i - New in oct 2011
My frontcamera is suddenly "dead"..and gone from all menus on my Neo.
It is not possible to choose from the camera settings anywhere.
It does not work in skype, or other third party apps.
When i hit service tests with *#*#7378423#*#*, choose secondary camera it says: "the device does not support this function"
It was avail for some time in camera settings, but when i chose it, it froze the whole phone.
But as describe above, now it is all gone.
Consider it lost and just move on?
Or does anyone have some other suggestion? Software fix?
PS: I tried flashing back to gingerbread and so on.. no luck.
Considered flashing. 587 again?

I did, both rom and kernel.
No effect.
Seems like a hardware effect, but i am not sure.
Strange thing, seems like i am not alone with this, after jumping from GB to ICS on a neo mt15i
Also i un-installed cam app, and reinstalled again. No effect.
The only system apps i have frozen or un-installed by systemcleaner, are update center and update service and all Facebook apps.

Try to flash stock gb rom using flashtool.. Maybe it will start working again... Otherwise goto sony service center, its a hardware fault..
