Just wanted to share that NRGZ28 started working on an EVO 3D ROM. It's currently being tested. So far, it's looking great!
Great news, another HD2 legend developing for our EVO 3D

I loved his roms back in the day on my Xperia X1.
I hope he cooks for us GSM users too

More than we do, getting really ugly on the gsm threads , I think a pus*y riot is going to happen, every noob complain about bootloops with kernels now, predator 395 missing inaction, soon moderators will close more threads do to warez kernel

Loved your work on the OG EVO. It was the only ROM I used once it came out. Can't wait for the release of this. Guarantee it will be my new ROM. <3

And why wouldn't it be? Ability to overclock the GPU? Ability to activate the second core of our processor for routine tasks? L2 cache bandwidth boost?
In simple English: holy crap, they've turned this phone into a monster. It's the same CPU as in our EVO 3D, but it feels like a whole new generation of processor and GPU. (And not just by CPU0 frequency "overclocking" like our EVO 3D ROMS do -- although of course they do/allow that as well).
Why hasn't there been an effort to port all the tweaks in this puppy over to the EVO 3D?
Message Mike and ask him to port it over.

i also PM'd him asking if there was any plans to port this.
I run Mike's Rom on my Transformer and let me tell you it is so silky smooth and just runs so flawlessly. This guy really knows how to tweak a Rom to make it work well with the hardware. He specializes in Sense Roms, but has recently made the custom Honeycomb 3.2.1 for the Transformer.
I would drop $20 in his paypal account if this would be ported

This guy is a straight up legend! I used his ROM religiously on the DHD. It feels like the ROM HTC Devs should have done for every single HTC device ever released that has a crappy stock ROM , they should be paying this guy to do the work they should have done in the first place!!

I'm just wondering if it is something that would be worth our time to bring over. I believe I would be able to use a multi-device flash setup like Team Warm did with at least 1 of their ROMs. Not having the device makes me not want to really do it, but if there is enough demand for it, I would consider it - especially if I could use the same base and push the right files for the 2 different phones since I know the CDMA base is already very solid. Please let me know your honest thoughts.

so im new to the EVO and need to know who are some of the top dev's for Roms? i know each have their own tricks, but who are the top notch been doing it a while Dev's? any tips on a good start rom would be nice too. im coming from an HD2 and only know those roms. please dont give me smart a$$ comments, just looking for advice.

KingCobra in my opinion is the best and most stable.
I haven't had any major problems with it.

Mwakious was the first custom ROM I tried on my E3D, felt like not as good as the stock ROM (I tried about 1 week after the official update to ICS from HTC). "good" in term of stable, battery,... I also don't like the customized boot screen
Then I tried Anryl, used it for up to a month. Felt like stable as stock ROM, but with more tweaks (of course ), but still not happy with the battery life.
Then I tried Yoda's. It doesn't work on my phone (always got "Problem with UI", even I tried to clean everything before installation). Then, bye-bye it, to go to Cool's.
Cool's battery consumption is good, and less bug. So now I'm using it, happily waiting for Coolexe's every kernel update.
maybe you are right ,,, I just tried Mwakious .. I feel it has some LAG ..
I prefer Predator

No 3d but high speed mobile works as far as I can tell, 3d won't happen, I understand it's a java issue and kernel issue, all you have to do is go to infectedrom.com go to evo cdma development find vioer venom rom click download and download the multi version, for both cdma and gsm, it's nice

Yes, I know what you mean but I bought the phone for it's awesome dual core cpu, ram 3d was not the selling feature for me.
Vitrouos rom is not the best, there's been many overall improvements, sound, tweaks, preformance.

ok ... I flashed it ... and it didnt work .. after flashing ... the phone keep rebooting .. i waited for 4 reboots but nothing changed

In aroma it ask's if you would like to do a full wipe, yes, full wipe is required.

Well i want 3d in sense 4 too full functionality.

IMO the only developer (who is still interested in Evo) capable to create functional drivers for 3D camera is agrabren. You can contribute him, but don't expect any ETA.
Personally I.would rather have 4g on a sense 4 Rom. Newt was about to put one out but things happened and it didn't come out. Makes me sad as his sense 4 he had was awesome.

Not to be the debbie downer but I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that neither 3d nor 4g will ever be implemented on Sence 4.1+ rom. Just not gonna happen.
I'd just be happy with 3D on JB (camera and all)
Don't care if still on Sense 3.6 and there isn't 4G in my area.
