Hi,
I'm having a no service problem for two weeks... the only way to recover the signal is rebooting... tryied wipe cache, change modem... nothing could help me...
And I think I got whats happening today... When I lost the signal, like in a elevator, it gives up trying to search for signal again...
I'm using cMIUI, and i don't want to change the ROM, but if it's the last shot... well, I'll do... but as a last shot!
I already used some MIUIs and Cyanogens and never happened that to me, only using this cMIUI...

Try an app from the play store called fresh network. Works for me.

if you don't wanna try out different ROMS, then why not flash a different modem?
if it still doesn't work for you, then you seriously have to flash another ROM for that

Is it just me or does Root Explorer not work on an ICS ROM?
I just get a blank screen and it stops responding.
It worked for me on all ICS roms I tried.

Yes I had issues restoring apps between gb/ics. So I'm assuming ics stores data information different

the one you have to be rooted to use...i have tried it with slim rom and it kinda made my phone buggy when i installed it so I was just wondering if they were going to make it part of the rom

ok let me clarify this....installing the app from the market or downloading it was causing the phone to reboot and freeze hence the reason i wanted to know if anyone knew if it was ever going to be included..on previous roms it worked fine as long as it was packaged in the rom. I appreciate the help but please dont keep telling me to download it already have the apk downloaded just wanted to know before I loaded it thanks

I'm using the one from xXx and it seems to work fine, I just backed it up with all my other apps and brought it over.

My mic went out on my note, i replaced it, all of a sudden my damn phone can't make a call or receive them, i can text surf the internet make skype calls, everything but make and receive calls. Please help me before i throw this phone against the wall. I'm running ICS which was installed by AT&T it was working great til i switch the bottom mic out. I did a factory reset and everything i thought of. Please help me.

Ok i looked at it and everything is ok could be the radio
I already advised you in your other thread to flash a stock rom. Use Kies emergency firmware recovery tool so you get a rom with the modem. That is done with your pc and original charging cable. You get the model and serial number from a sticker under the battery.
If you're going to throw the phone, throw it to me!
Don't post anything else until you do this.
i heard deleting everything then reflashing would work but i was wondering if anyone knew any other tricks before i do that, just don't want to go through all the trouble ty
So are we supposed to just GUESS what rom you're running, what kernel, any mods you installed....

I've been having this exact same problem.
But to the place where I can't even use my internet while on just data.

So I installed Wanamlite yesterday, had a lot of bugs, I got tired and went to sleep. I woke up, flashed it again, everything is clean and nice, like a new phone when all of the sudden I have no service. Can't call anyone or send any texts.
So I flashed Temasek CM 10.2 real quick and even on CM I don't get any service. I tried using different modems and even installed some ARIZA patch or something like that and it didn't help.
I have an international s3, never had any problems with my SIM or anything. I didn't drop the phone, or installed anything incorrectly.
I don't know what to do...
Edit: Just unrooted my phone. Still doesn't work.
I also tried to insert my sister's SIM and it doesn't work! What did I do?
please help me i dont know what to do!
