Hi all,
I found one thread here on xda from a guy that had converted the nxt apps to mini pro for gingerbread.
However, after having installed them on my v.62 with locked bootloader, I had many issues: force closes on calendar, contacts etc etc.
Is there any alternative to have the nxt apps correctly working on v62?

Well, again, most of them don't work. Seems I'm missing out something.
(I only replaced some apks in /system/app)
Was worth the try though

I know this is posted in other sections but i thought i would let my fellow MT4G users in on this
google has released a updated version of their camera app, gallery app, music app and more to galaxy s phone users
these have been extracted and posted here

Unfortunatly, the only apps i have gotten to work are the camera, music, and market (though i see no difference in the market, and i found the camera less featured that the one i already had...if you want to try the camera, it can be installed along side the current one)
I am running RoyalMIUIr3, so those were compatible with this rom, other roms may differ
WARNING: I am having issues installing downloaded apps using the new vending.apk. backup your current one before installing the new version.
I wonder which one of these would work on CM... Gonna try.

can you install apps from the market?...i had issues with that, it would download and never install

Yeah. No problems. Said there was an update for Facebook but never was. But other than that its all good

Use an tool like root explorer to delete the timescape apk(s) from the internal storage. Get sure ypu deleted every part cause timescape consists of various apks...
This worked well on stock 1.6 as well as 2.1

Always read your Rom forum for custom roms an DEV posts but you can check this out to.
Don't know if this will work on custom roms but here it is anyway.
I would use Titanium backup pro, and here is the forum for apps that can be removed.

BUT I need these apps for my network to work.
(SemcCheckin.apk, Sim Tool Kit: Stk.apk)
Also if you don't know about an app is, use Titanium backup freezer first, one at a time to see if you have any problems, then if none then delete the apps.
Always reboot between freezings/deletions to see if all works.
If you have lagging or it's freaking out just reboot first before you try anything
and if it still is just unfreeze that app.
If you deleted apps already and you find that you need it then go here.

Ask in general chat in my sig, its kinda useless to post a new thread, but if your neo/neo v is rooted, use root uninstaller from google play store

Not sure which app I removed for that but let's try with this one first "FBSetupwizard.apk"

yes i do that always with root uninstaller, but i need fb for my private, so if he want delete that apps, use root explorer, thats my advice but its working good

I used titanium backup and used "freeze" on all Xperia stuff.
Worked like a charm for me.
i got facebook app problem on LG UI 3.0 V2 for X10 rom.....cant use facebook app..
If you have restored from titanium delete it and try to install from the market
I don't use titanium back up....actually i dont have problem to install app...the problem is went i want to use it its stuck on loading....in other cm7 rom i got no problem on that app....sorry im not good in english

Me too..got problem with the FB apps, it just not responding..same thing happen to stock browser, sometimes it will not respond..
Did you guys use the kernel provided or others ? And anyone know how to remove the homescreen pages ?

Use Firefox browser, and to delete home screens.,pinch to preview screens and now hold and drag screen.

hi i am new here. just want your help in installing some application like email , music app from the GB rom on currently installed ics on my xperia u.. Is it possible?. device is rooted and i have a stock GB ftf rom with me.CW Recovery is installed on device.. please help. these apps on ics have bugs so i want them back from GB as they were fine there.

And whats the problem with the actual apps? Its the same, just the spps from ics are udated...

thanks for reply.
yes they are buggy as have been altered by lazzy sony developmnt team. :-/
some missing functionality as to mention..
a) email app doesnt have a refresh option to check mails for multiple accounts at a time with just one click.. which was available in GB email app.
b) walkman app has option missing to add whole folder while creating playlist. now we have to manually select every song while creating list.
c) last but not least the basic calculator doesnt have a % operator. seems sony doednt know how to code that operation.
