You need to buy USB jig to send your phone in download mode. Try to remove battery.
Inviato dal mio GT-I9100 con Tapatalk 2
based on your pic, check you usb connection. do not use usb hub, has to be connected directly.
laptop is the best way to flash, if you are on desktop, disconnect any other usb except mouse

That picture of phone - /!\ - pc?
It IS a download mode. It is a forced download mode, indicating that you need to flash a proper firmware for your phone before you will be able to do anything else.
I'd make sure you are flashing a firmware that is actually meant for your phone or not.
Check your model number that is printed on the label underneath your battery. What does it say?
And what were you trying to flash?
EDIT to add: most times I have seen this screen reported is due to an I9100G user trying to flash an I9100 firmware or ROM, or the opposite; an I9100 user trying to flash an I9100G firmware or ROM. My guess is you fall into one of these two categories.
Steps to recover this
try getting into download mode Vol dwn + home + power
if u cant then try this : remove battery and keep it for 2 minutes .. later press and hold vol dwn + power + home then while holdin the buttons plug in the battery
if u still cant get into download mode
then then buy a usb jig from ebay .. it will help u get to download mode
once in download mode
flah the kernel first
once done
remove usb remove battery again get ur phone in download mode
and flash the full firmware
and ur done

Soft brick is just a term that is loosely thrown about that has become to mean that your phone will not boot. That is your situation.
If you are ABSOLUTELY sure you have an i9100G, then follow the guide for the i9100G that neerajganga linked above, it should get you squared away.
And in the future, make sure you are flashing i9100G firmwares, ROMs, and kernels only. I'd wager a guess you got into this situation by flashing an I9100 firmware, ROM, or kernel.

Its not mine. But the owner said that he had flash the phone. Then at the middle of flashing a brownout occurred. then he can't turn on the phone anymore.

Your best bet would be to get him into this forum.
We need to know what exactly he tried to flash (which firmware), if he tried to flash a pit file, if he ticked anything in ODIN, etc...
Also we need to know if he tried to get into downloader mode.
USB JIG
Just BUY a USB JIG You will be able to turn it on in a download mode and refalsh it via Odin

A jig won't work if the bootloader is messed up..
@OP: if you can enter download mode flash a new firmware.. But if you try to turn it on and it won't (just a black screen with no activity etc on it), better get it to a service center..

My own semi-bricked i9101 turns on but i can't seem to find the right firmware to use to revive it. All the i9100 firmware I tried simply did not work. I'm still waiting for someone to post the right i9101 firmware. Anyone? Please.... Thanks
Remove Battery, just hold down the VOLUME DOWN button, and the HOME button. Then press the Power button.
It will go to download mode, use ODIN, flash.
As for ROM, you can use FUS downloader
http://fus.nanzen.se/
I don't see a I9101 in the list though...

Look , i had the bootloop once. I tried to power down my device, but it wouldn't work. Took out the battery and it powered on itself - bootloop. Try holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons to get into recovery mode and then clear data/cache. I remember holding the buttons for 10 seconds before it actually rebooted to recovery
But if you read the heading of this thread gr4ndm4st3r_bl4ck, it says the home button is broke....

I'm not sure his button is really broke , cuz he didn't mention it anywhere in his post , just in the heading... Which makes no sense, who does any kind of flashing if their hardware button is broke... If it really is , then it's his fault for not taking it to repair first...
I was trying to update-upgrade my S2 via Kies (everything up to date) to ICS, it got stuck at 0% an error message came up said pull out battery and connect again. Did it but nothing. A yellow triangle with black ! inbetween of a phone and a PC only appears. Tried Hard reset but nothing. can't connect to kies, can;t do anything...
Tried to look if there were is another thread like this but couldnt find.
Im a newbie in Android and as you can see I am in PANIC
any help appreciated.

I would say first try getting into download mode(by pressing volume up & the power button simultaneously). After that, connect your phone to your PC,run "Odin 1.85"(just google that sentence, you will get it), after that use odin to flash a stock samsung ROM to your phone.
download this stock ROM to be used with odin :
http://skywanker.net/download/downl...9100_XEO_I9100XWLP8_I9100OXALPS_I9100XXLPS.7z
the exact details on how to flash the link I gave above to your phone is on this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
Good luck!!
Tried Vol up and power button but nth happend. Still Yellow triangle and black question mark....
For download mode its volume down home and power key.Try this if it goes in to download mode then follow the rest of the steps from the above post

You need to press the Home button as well.
I'd remove batteries, wait for at least 5 s. Then try entering Download mode with
(Vol Down Home, Power)
If it still won't work then you'd need to get a USB jig as noted in previous posts.
And no it is not your fault, KIES is not a very good piece of software.

Are you still getting this screen? This is a forced download mode. You can try an Odin flash from here.
apparently you are new to this so..... here it goes
1: first check you got i9100 not i9100G
2: kies told you to remove and reconnect blaa blaa so it can restore the error. if you cant manage to fix it, than easy method is like post above said. use odin.
3: read about how to use odin, close kies, download stock ROM (checkfus / sammobile ) and flash, it will be fixed.
4: no need for jig at the moment.
if ur in download mode jus use odin an c if it recognizes, yes means flash up....by the way kies is safe
Well i think i ve got I9100G, can i still use Odin?????

Well i opened ODIN put an I9100G Rom as PDA and pressed start but after half an hour it is still <ID:0/008> SetupConnection..
It's in forced download mode, it should still be coming up "COM:x" in ODIN right? You should be able to flash a recovery package from there. It should take 5 minutes at the most, not 30.
where did you get ROM from...what type of file????
Few weeks old I9300.
I'm unable to get to download mode using the three button method (have tired many other combos).
I have attached a picture of what happens when I press Vol Down + Home + Power. (Didn't know how to insert into the post.
Any help is appreciated.

a little suggestion here:
try factory reset ur S3...
if the problem still persist try to reflash ur firmware using samsungkies
Maybe you try this one. Connect this to your phone and it will go into download mode automatically. If it does not work, then your phone may have bricked.
