Is there a "UpCurl" lockscreen for Android - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hey, I was looking at my friends iPhone and trying to explain why Android is so much better when I locked his phone the lock screen was different to the standard.
To unlock the phone you had to curl up the page, like turning a page. It was the same for the notification bar.
I really liked the unlock and i was wondering if there is anything like this for Android devices.

No, because it doesn't exist. I clicked discard, but for some reason it posted. I was going to say you will need something like go locker from the play store and choose a theme that unlocks the way you want it too or possibly use one of the CM9 ROMs because they have different lock screens, but I'm not sure if one of them is what you are talking about.

So..request fulfilled then..? Widgetlocker does what you ask for, and can do it in virtually as many ways as you can think of.
maybe he needs a little more information.
with WL you can download endless types of unlock sliders. what you want is bound to be in their huge list/repository.

Yeah, in fact I believe a slide down miui style slider comes with the app by default

Actually if you resize the default sliders on WL it becomes up and down.

Replacement for Samsung's lock screen?

The stock lock screen is honestly pretty terrible. Laggy and pretty featureless. I've tried a few things from the Market, but as soon as I restart the phone I end up with two lock screens. Any leads?

WidgetLocker is the best replacement lockscreen app...IMHO. And tons of themes here on xda, I make WidgetLocker themes as well.
Try MILocker highly customizable man... Its based upon MIUI

I gave this a try. I like how it looks, but it doesn't seem to scale up properly on our devices. Were you able to get around that?

It seems to depends on the theme. Also, almost everything's in Chinese. I like it a lot after a few edits, now I just gotta get media controls on the lock screen.

Yes the.lock screen is pretty horrible. For now I have just disabled it completely and I think I'll keep it that way for a while pretty nice

Another vote for Widgetlocker.
How do you guys get widget locker to scale properly?

what do you mean?
Mine works just fine.....if your talking about the actually locks, you can long press on the locks and resize them. you have to be in widget locker to do it, you can't just do it from the lock screen.
so go to app drawer and open widget locker, long press on lock, resize
Im not a huge fan of alot of stuff on my lock or home screen, so for me the great alternative lock for me was sign2unlock.

The good thing about Widgetlocker is that it can be tweaked to have as little (or as much) as someone wants.

App Request TW Launcher for AOKP

Is it possible for someone to make a modified version of the TW launcher that will work with AOKP? I'd just like the app drawer icon to be the ICS circle with dots. I found the link below in searching, but it has the default home page set to 1 with no option to change it, and the app drawer icon isn't themed. I'm using it for now though, because i have no idea how i could change it. Anyone who wants to use this one without having it modded go ahead. Lol Thanks in advance to anyone who can do it or any advice!

Isn't the whole point if aokp/aosp roms to get away from touchwiz? Why not just flash stock?

How do I upload files on the mobile version? Its in the i9100 thread but I'm on my phone I don't wanna find the link

You can change the app drawer icon in Nova (and Apex, I think) - you can probably make them look mostly like Touchwiz if you want.

Uhhh maybe look like 3 or 4 posts below yours? It couldnt have been that hard to miss the "Galaxy S3 Launcher" in the thread title could it?
You have to take up customizing the App Drawer button with Samsung though.

Can't he just replace the icon graphic in the launcher apk?
I know that won't center it but it's a start.

Surely it couldn't have been too hard to see that I posted this months ago before the gs3 was even officially announced? Don't sit there and act like I'm an idiot when this thread is old news. Bravo.

Kinda the main selling point of the device, no?
What I did was switch to Nova Launcher and remove all of the info sources in the BlinkFeed app. Other than that, there is no way to remove BlinkFeed from the stock Sense launcher.

Am I the only one that likes blinkfeed? You could set another screen as the home screen and change the setting so that it will not automatically sync. Probably can't remove it...

I agree that it is limited right now. Maybe HTC will add or allow it to be customized more. I would love to see xda and pinterest feeds.

Hi, unfortunately not yet, as we still want to make Themer as stable as possible before we move onto anything else. For now we recommend trying out WidgetLocker, as then you can change the wallpaper, and add in widgets from the homescreen to match the theme
