Orientation problem in MiniCM7 Pro v20
I use MiniCM7 Pro v20 which is based on CyanogenMod 7.1 (Android 2.3.7).
Now I'm getting the orientation problem just like nirmalsudharjanan said. I realized it while playing Doodle Jump.
I reflashed the ROM twice, but the problem still persists...

as we said our friend nobodyatall this problem is due to the sensors work in compatibility mode, it has now ported the lib robyn sensors, probably in the next update, we solve this problem,

I hope it is not last one.
I just need one gb rom that works perfect without any bug.
For me is very annoying bug of double letters when only one press hardwer key when tiping message or something. Minicm2.1.9 and rom from x10mp team got that bug. But earlier on minicm 2.1.8 and earlier i had never that bug.

maybe its the hardware keyboard problem.
i actualy dont like the keyboard, so i use androidkeyboard )

X10mp ROM is based on MiniCM [for now] Therefore, OBVIOUSLY, it will inherit the bugs in MiniCM.
Try other ROMS. There are many out there, though not as good as MiniCM7, but alot of them will not have that bug. They will, however, have far less performance than MiniCM.

Hm i never had that bug on older minicm7 .. First time it happen on v 2.1.8
Hm i think i will turn back to that version. But do you guys know, does the recording video works well ond that version

ICS may be out but slade87 stopped work on his ICS rom and paul-xxx hasn't released any updates for his ICS rom in ages - even though he's had the next version, V03, of his ICS rom to himself to test personally

No idea. Not seen any posts from him in any xda threads in ageeeeeeeees! There really needs to be more communication back to the xda community I feel though. It's a two way thing, and yes it's not great to ask for ETA's, but then again: @XDA DEVS : at least let us know something like "I'm running into bugs/problems/whatever" please!

Hey dude it seems like a problem try changing ROM cuz there are many roms better than which u are using like try dynamite,gtr etc if problem continues then visit a service center if phone is under warranty then u are lucky!!!!

Problem is proximity sensor

I have had this problem for long, unfortunately not much is available as a solution.
This is proximity sensor problem, if you want to test it use Z-test from Play store.
Problem is in kernel, the setting of cm7 or cm9 kernel doesn't really suit our phone.
Following kernel/rom all CM7.2 only:
A kernel based on Paolo sources would be better, it makes my proximity sensor behave in a correct manner.

GTR Rom uses Roq kernel and my proximity sensor works well with it.

I have tried very roms..offical roms,there is no problem..v10a,v20g kdz update no problem..sensor no problem..and cm 7.1 old baseband no problem..except for their all rom's sensor problem..
I never tried the kernel thanx "sam.bagga"..I'll try now.. be the kernel.
That sensor doesn't work on ICS yet.That's all...try any other gingerbread

I tested with the z-test app..proximity sensor problem..I tried all kernel..(franco,mario_fe,djnoxd,paolo,cafkn..)..but did not improve I'm crazy
need to take to the service? or Have you a problem in the pffss
Are you kidding me ? before you flash from gb to ics you shoul've wipped the sensor stats and vice versa.

I did but it still continues Froyo rom's no problem..offical and custom rom no problem..I'm testing.. I have some problem with gingerbread..

This is the solution to slow accelerometer CM10.
Flash should only the attachment
Restart the device.
And ready have the full working accelerometer for games and all.
TESTED IN XPERIA MINI PRO, REPORT ANY FAILURE, to fix it. :angel:

I don't mind you borrowed the fix from here, but please note this fix it is not necessary for mango anymore since FXP136.
Working on LWW running CM 9.1.0
Great work! The accelerometer was too slow and I wasn't able to play any motion game. But this really fixed the problem. Working well on CM 9.1.0 :good:

doesnt work on cm10.
The fix contains the akmd8795 file. This file is device dependent and does *not* fix the accelerometer slowness. It fixed the inverted axis problems for some devices, but broke it on other devices. FXP has already fixed this problem for all 2011 devices some time ago, so this fix should *not* be applied anymore, it can only break things.

backup ur rom just in case, install it ,set the brightness to below the half and flash a light source into ur sensor and the results are pretty obvious, restore ur backup if u don't like the new als, tried on my xperia mini pro sk17i and it worked, dunno about lww ...

I'm using cm7 unlocked bootloader on st15i(xperia mini) is this work on mini or just mini pro?

it automatically sets ur screen brightness according to ur surrounding light background, we already have this , flash a torch on ur sensor u'll see the screen's brightness increase/dim a bit accordingly, but this is a bit more responsive than stock one
