hey guys!
i might be that lucky one having lumia 800 with qualcomm bootloader. i was said before, that i should not to update it cause it will make my phone not-flashable after it (will it make qualcomm to ndload?).
i believe it has never been updated since purchased in beginning of this year, so i hope to have some new features with updates.
whats the best method to update it?
First check if you really have the qualcomm loader. Go to this link and follow the instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626317
but bear in mind that the instructions mentioned in that link refer only to determining if you have the dload or qualcomm. The other instructions there are only for the Lumia 710.
well i am sure 100%
just need to know can i update it...
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
firmware: 1750.0805.8773.12220
hardware: 112.1402.2.3

Maybe it is a stupid question and if so, I apologize for this.
I bought a Lumia 710 and I want to interop-unlock it. Just checked for every thread in the forum but I don't have found anything that fits to me.
If I follow one of the guide in the forum, I flash my phone and everything goes ok.
When I want to return to stock ROM (example for warranty), what are the steps to follow?
very thanks to everyone!
I would imagine you'd need to download the stock ROM from NaviFirm and flash it with either Nokia Care Suite for DLOAD bootloader or for QC bootloader there is another program you need to use, but I can't find the name of it.
All info is here, just read everything
And this is what I thinked about, but I want a confirm.
The version I have of NCS Product Support Tool is 2012.12.5.3 in normal mode found my phone, but in QC bootloader don't find it.
If i wish to restore original rom, there is a guide for it?
yes, you use NSS to restore your bootloader. check it out in development thread and say THANKS to the Developer because he has mede it easy to use.
Cheers
Use the NSS Suite to get back the Nokia DLOAD then just update normally to get back to the original state for your warranty claims

Ok, thanks to all, for now I don't have necessity to claim for warranty, but you know, Fortune is blind but bad luck sees us well!!!
installing rom on pre installed rom
can i install rainbow mod 2.1 on lumia 710...
i have rataplan v1.0 installed...
should i flash it or i have to do someting else..??
Just bought second hand HTC Radar. Sseller sold it, because he couldn't update it, because of error 80180048.
He said he thinks the phone is developer model and it may need a firmware....and goood luck!
I can't find how to crab a screenshot on Windows phone, but there is several additional items in the menus:
TestSuite
zBig Boss Settings
zCompass
zGesture Bester
zSensorView
zSart KITL
Is there any standard (original) firmware for radar? The phone is unlocked like every HTC phone sold here in Finland. Is it wise to contact HTC, if they could help, or can I get trouble of doing that?
edit: I'm completely newbie, but I found this:
Model: HTC Radar C110e
Software : WIndows 7.5
OS Version: 8107.WM7_Main_Ship (mojobld).20111201-2014
Firmware revision number: 1600.2200.10807.401
Hardware revision number: 0002
Bootloader version: 1.8.160015.3(131865)
Chip SOC version: 1.6.0.0

Thanks for the quick reply!
Yeah, I tried Hard reset. I also found that link, when trying to find help with that error number. In that help site there is a warning: DO NOT use the Windows Phone Support Tool if your phone's operating system (OS) version is 7.0.7390.0 or higher.
My phone says it has 7.5.
Do someone know how to recognise if this phone actually is a developer version?
Or maybe it has just a custom firmware?
Is there a way to recognize a custom firmware?
if i were you i would use DFT HSPL and flash a custom rom
DFT HSPL

Many thanks. As I told I'm pretty new with this stuff, but at least thats looks promising.
By the way, I found out my phone is a developer model for sure.
I found a topic in here when doing a search using the OS version (which looks weird).
I found this:
Radar - Strange build - mojobld ?
I see..
So I presume you can skip DFT HSPL and go straight to flashing some ROM whether is stock or not.

In that other thread, a person with developer phone had tried to flash the phone with other firmwares without success. I would really like to get advices from the people here, before doing anything stupid.
I think i made a mistake saying that htc phones in finland are unlocked. What i mean is they are not locked (or branded) by carrier (like Vodafone, orange etc).
i think you could easily unlock the bootloader (DFT HSPL) and flash a fresh ROM, but look for other opinions just to be sure
Hi,
i still wait like many of us for a solution to downgrade from DLOAD to Qualcomm Bootloader on the Nokia Lumia 800.
The 710 has a solution via NSS.
Also other Threads show how to do it with MobileEx and AdvanceBox Turbo Flasher .
The Newest Versions of them are listed here.
NSS : http://www.genieprojects.co.uk/files/NssPro_0.53_0_b.zip
MobileEx v3.5 r2.4 : http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f550/mxbox-v3-5-revision-2-4-public-discussion-thread-1558419/
AdvanceBox Turbo Flasher : http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f609/
The Problem is that ATF and MobileEx need the hardware devices, which are damn expensive and needs to connect with the PC to use the Software. Or use JTAG with special cables, no standart user has experience. There are several emulated (Cracked) versions of the old versions of these Software, but i dont want to link them as its not allowed.
NSS has a new version, and there is still no OSBL version of Nokia Lumia 800 firmware.
Don't we have Dumped Firmware of Nokia Lumia 800 OSBL (Qualcomm) to flash easylie with NSS like with Lumia 710 ?
Is there Any Development to get that Qualcomm to Lumia 800 ? Did anyone Reverse Engineer how 710 works and "ported" this method to 800 ?
Did anyone found or dumped the OSBL (Qualcomm) Firmware for Lumia 800 ?
Best Regards

will answer everything
you just had to reply saying that there was now progress till yet
bootloader on 800 is still not downgradeable
i would love to see a (software-)solution for this as i have also a lumia 800 with a dload.
710 has a software solution with NSS
but i know someone has the OSBL firmware for 800 too or could get it to let it work on NSS with 800 too
Hi guys first of all happy new year to all of you.
I'm new here, I always had a Samsung, but now I bought a Nokia Lumia 800.
Which is the best firmware I can use on my phone? I have now Windows 7.5 , provider; cv be v5
os; 7.10.8773.98
REVISION FM. 1750.0805.8773.12220
Which tutorial & tool I can best use to get my phone working well?
It no simlocked and I am from Belgium, dutch will be cool to have, but not necessary.
Kind regards,
Konrad
Try with Nokia Care Suite if update is not available there for your firmware..u can try another firm from Navifirm+.
If the phone has been unlocked via an unlock code make sure you have that code before flashing a new firmware-- it will re-lock the phone.
Hi all,
Is there any way to unsimlock a Lumia 800, knowing that the material version number is: 112.1402.2.4.
I've heard it was impossible some time ago... The only way was to use a ATF box to flash qualcomm bootloader, right?!
I would like to flash it to a custom ROM as well to get it fully unlock, but my first point is to unsimlock.
Do you think it is possible?
Thank you guys
Without qualcomm , cant sim unlock.
So if you want to do the hardware mod..look in the dev section here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587650 there are couple of posts with links
Ok, thanks for your input.
Exactly what i thought, only hardware mod...
Do you know if cell shops with ATF box are very common?
