Ok I have an outdated Droid Eris that is not being used ant I was wondering it there is a way for me to use it as a sort of Nexus Q. Being able to control it with my Droid Bionic or my Mac while it sites locked into my speakers and a charger with a switch (this part I am going to have to build on my own). Any know if I can do this or if I can get my hands on a modded Nexus Q framework so I can attempt to mod it onto my Eris.
Thank you in advance

So my new phone wont pair to my blubridge RX. I am switching over from a DroidX and it was working fine.
It will pair but once it pairs it will not connect. I checked support for the bluebridge and says it will not connect with some samsung phones unless 3rd party software is loaded?
"Due to Samsung’s custom modifications to the Android OS, the mini-jack RX is seen and able to pair but it not stream audio correctly on certain models (Galaxy, Captivate, ect). Some customers have had success after installing 3rd party Android images on their phone"
Anyone know what they are talking about? I need my blubridge working.. Help!
Sounds like its saying with stock fascinate your sol.. But with a custom rom like cyanogen mod you would be golden. But since all of our cyanogen/miui style roms, also known as AOSP roms, have buggy bluetooth you may or may not be totally sol. I would suggest you try loading JT's cyanogen mod6 port and see if it works on that..

Hi Guys
I've been looking for a nice headphones with mic and control buttons for my Legend
Unfortunately companies make only ones for iPhone
Apple does not like us to use them
So they have put a chip which allows them to work only with idevices
When u connect them to legend mic do not work (but the phone recognize it as coneceted)
Only central button works (allows u to play and stop music only)
I've read that there is a patch for HTC magic
Which allows to use iPhone ones
I've been wondering is there a way to make them work on legend as well
If anyone have any info about how to do it please help

Id like to know if anyone knows of an app that lets the nook receive audio from another device, and better yet, if you know if I can control that device through the nook. At minimum I'd like to be able to transmit BT audio to my nook because Ive installed my nook in my car. I'm looking to use pandora or google music from my phone and be able to switch songs on the phone using my nook. That's probably a far fetched app and very specific, but I'd like to know if anyone knows of anything that they use for other purposes that may suit this. Thanks!
Wouldn't it be a lot easier to put pandora or google music on your nook and tether your phone to it for the data connection only.

I have two Bluetooth issues with my View. I am currently running stock, but rooted Honeycomb, but had the same problems with stock, but rooted Gingerbread as well.
1. Tethering
The first is using Bluetooth for tethering. When I pair my Droid Pro to the View, and click on the wrench icon, then click connect to Internet, it says connecting and never connects. When I try this with the same phone on a Dell Streak 7 or a Motorola Xoom, I get online instantly.
2. Handsfree
I know there is a thread about editing build.prop, which I have done, but my Jabra Clipper only connects for tablet audio. I did get it to connect running the Gingerbread CleverNameRom. Is this build.prop edit only work on Gingerbread? I am not interested in making phone calls, but would like to use it for Skype.
Thanks in advance for assistance.
I am having the same issues with my motorola finiti.
Can anyone let us know if these two items are even possible to get working in Honeycomb?
Does anyone know if the tethering issue is a hardware limitation on the View?
Prior to my recent discovery of the XDA community and others alike, I searched through Audi forums with no such luck to finding my answer.
Now that I have access to the minds of the tech world, I figured my answer might be answered quickly and correctly.
I have paired my Rezound to my car without a hitch (with ICS & CleamROM, the early GB stock acted up constantly). However, I am looking for a way, if at all possible, to upload my contacts via Bluetooth (there is a dock in the center console but I doubt they make an attachment for the Rezound). I would also like to be able to play music from my music apps such as Pandora, Google Music, etc. via Bluetooth.
I bought the car used, and I'm going to assume the software in the car (it has navi) hasn't been updated since it was first purchased.
My goal is to get a definitive answer as to whether my car is capable of either (uploading contacts via Bluetooth & streaming music via Bluetooth over the car speakers) and if so, what is needed to go about doing so (do I need to update the cars software and such or download an app or tweak some settings to make it work).
Appreciate what you guys do here, been utilizing this forum for months now and have learned a ton. Hoping to soon use my new found knowledge to help others that are new & transition for my noob status of just reading, learning & asking questions.
