As the previous post said, it can support GSM (t-mob, att, etcs)
As for the battery, I am pretty sure it is similar to Sensation battery (with larger mAh). Sensation has about 1500, this device has 1730mAh. I am pretty sure they have same battery since the Anker battery for sensation & amaze are the same
Considering there is cdma and gsm and you stated gsm in the question..you answered your own question

I think your question about battery has been answered previously (see my previous post)
Or......... take a look at a quick google search result here:
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_amaze_4g-4097.php
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_evo_3d-3901.php
and do "Ctrl + F", type in: "battery".... And there you go....
For beats audio, short answer is "yes". For a full list of ROM that have it, just go to Amaze android development section, and search for beats audio and you shall find your answer....
And just saying, you should do more searching next time

True... a lot of potential with this one I think I'd be okay with just root for a while with the new OS and Sense version... we'll probably talk about accessories for the most part since battery is more than enough on a non 4g network.

Dual core is more battery efficient as you wont be stressing a single core with all your tasks.
The htc page doesn't say anything about GSM. It USED to, but it was obviously a mistype, considering it was changed to WCDMA 1-2 hours later. And now the specs page is completely gone.

again, read the source. Its pointing to the htc specs page. As I mentioned, the specs page was wrong. When it was first posted it said GSM/WCDMA/LTE/WIMAX. But 1-2 hours after that, it was modified and changed to WCDMA only.

I'm sure this will all be straightened out by HTC soon enough and we'll just see when it finally comes out...
If it turns out to be true, then the plan moves forward and we'll get one as soon as its released. If not, then we still have our DHDs to play with ;-)
Are you just proving the source inaccurate or you're one'a them fellas who don't wanna keep their hopes up?
Update: A pocketnow article kind of confirmed your statement though still aren't convinced that its entirely a mistake.

You might also want to put the app, LTE Switch, on your phone--really easy way to switch between different systems.
i will be getting the rezound soon. and would post how it works on a gsm quadband 850 network

Whatever you read or think is 100% wrong. The Evo is on Sprint's network which is CDMA. While there may be some GSM elements reported in the phone, it is indeed a CDMA phone. Completely different networks, as any google search would show you.

Sprint LTE does not use GSM.

Google search for Evo 4g lte network specs:
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=htc+evo+4g+lte+network+specs
LTE is a variant of utms/gsm. The phone itself is not gsm, there is no way to use the phone on gsm networks. You can't even use LTE on other networks because they all have their own frequencies and differences in their networks

Thank u sir... Somebody that actually answers the question instead of insulting... So with it using a variant of utms/gsm the radios are still different I'm guessing? The only thing I don't understand is I thought the radio was built with the qualcomm chip so if the phones had the same chip then the radio would be similar? Sorry if I'm wrong just trying to grasp an understanding...

Similar board design with a soc but its a modular design that allows for custom built hardware. You can have 3 OEMs with 5 different phones each with the same Qualcomm board and soc and they could all be built specifically for one carrier only. GSM is the standard, CDMA is more prevalent in the US.

Well it's probably a software issue with your carrier's specific firmware for your dual sim Desire X. In that case the only thing you can really do is wait for a bug fix, which will take a while to come.

I purchased, a T-mobile HTC One about 4 months ago, and converted the phone to the Google Edition including bootloader.
Now I found that the top grill (where the speaker is) is showing a gap, and I have about 3 dead pixels (they stay green and red all the time when the screen is on) Does anybody know how picky they are for replacements, and if I should restore to stock, or can I just send it back and they won't care about software mods?
You will definitely have to return the device to stock. I suggest relocking the BL, return to stock. So no red letters appear at the bottom during boot. I don't think the dive too much more then that.
