How do I configure what I want to see?
I don't want to see the bluetooth option for instance.

I've tried a search, but cant seem to find anything that can do this.
Does anyone know of an application in development or otherwise that makes this possible?
Awesome idea man!

I was wondering if there's a way to make google market think that I have an android 2.3 device. The reason I am asking thisis because google market blocks a ton of neat appear from my book tablet. I am guessing that google market sees my device as an android 1.4 device.
First, this is development, not general or Q&A. Second, the market does recognize it as 2.3 - that is not why some apps are missing. I recommend you go to the Apps section and find the thread about modifying your build.prop if you really want more apps to show up in the Market. I just side-load anything I cannot get directly. Either way, there are going to be apps that will just not run because of the way B&N has modified Android.

It contains no development, so has no place in the development section. Please refer to the read before posting for guidelines.
i am looking for application that can remote control my Android device(HTC desire) FROM my PC.
Control needs to be VNC style, so i can run apps on my desire from my pc(win7).
I have looked all around and found airdroid, but it doesn't have ability to execute any installed app on desire.
Thank you in advance
cheers

Can anyone explain priority mode for me that is on 5.0.1? I used to switch quiet mode on at night and it only let people that I selected to call me to notify me and alarms would work. How do I get that same function again? I don't really understand this priority mode.

Next time search, if you don't find it on Google search xda. If not there at least post it in the correct board.
Actually, there's a Q&A thread for lollipop in the Q&A board....

No, but you can report your own post to the moderators for them to delete. That's what the moderators want people to do when they want posts closed/deleted/etc.

I am new in XDA, and I notice there are many functions we can use to edit a thread, but I do not how to get it?
Just as below:
1. how to add "Click to show content" button
2. how to add video directly into the thread
3. how to make that when someone click the words I highlighted, then trigger the open of my inserted link
I do want to add some screenshot, but every image inserted need to be generated as URL
Wish you guys that can handle these give some advice~~

Welcome to XDA! To answer your first question you can get the "click to show content" button by using the hide function when editing or creating a new post. To add a video directly to a thread there is a button for adding media to a post. For your third question insert a link to the desired site but edit the text that is displayed between the your text here [URL/]. And for th...py to answer them :)!

Great! When posting a new thread make sure to search once and then double check again that the thread you are creating or a very similar one doesn't exist already. And also make sure to post your thread in the proper section that way your following the rules and your much more likely to get a response ! If you need help determining the right section for your thread let me know!
