I would suggest that you take a look at an anker 1900mah battery. It doesn't need a new back cover and gives better battery life than the stock one. I got two anker 1900mah batteries and an external charger off eBay for around 25$can.

I'm looking to buy an extended battery for this phone right now online and curious which is the best and has the most life. Any recommendations would be great.
I think it would be the powerskin. It uses the original battery and a1500 mAh battery. So two batteries total.

do you have it? if so where did u buy it from?
It looks like it uses same battery as Sensation. Amazon has some cheap 1900mAh batteries.

and I know they sell them online at tmobile.com
I picked up a powerskin as well, I am not too fond if the look, but I love the battery life.

I did the same thing, phone is large enough without it. I bought a Mugen extended battery and it should be here soon. If it works like the one I had for my 3g slide, it should be fine. I always liked Mugen batteries. Got mine off Ebay
Guys, anyone tried the extended battery 2600mAh? Is it the official one by Samsung?
If you can post an image for your Galaxy S II with the battery installed to how it looks?
If you can post the link on Amazon it would be great.
Thanks

batery
what batary you talking about???? link please.
i tryed 10$$ 3500mA from ebay - ****, real capacity is 2000mA may be even 1700mA
after i got mugenpower 3200mA and its amazing = phone life*2
foto available on mugen site
Huh? The only official battery from Samsung I heard so far is 1650 or 2000... I never heard one with 2600
I'm using one from Momax which is rated at 2700mah. Vast improvement over the stock battery and I like the Momax more than the original 2000mah battery which I have as well.
If you have the 2000mAh one, could you please post an image for your mobile's thickness?
And a link for the website that sell it, I would be grateful. Thank you.

That doesn't look very much like a Samsung product.
the highest rated official battery by samsung is 2000mah and no higher.
Any body have it on a Galaxy S II? Please post pics?

There is a massive thread for the 2000 battery in the accessories forum
Does anyone have experience or know if the anker 1900 mah i9100 battery works with our i777 stock back cover?
Galaxy note Paranoid Android 1.7ghz goodness
My friend has on for his i9100, it is slightly thicker than the original battery, so it requires a thicker battery case.
Thanks that's what I was assuming but figured is ask first. The anker would be a nice alternative to the i9100 extended battery and cover if it would work with stock cover

No pics but I can attest to the fact the battery works just fine in mine. Not sure if its really much better then stock though.
Since its i9100 probably have to run an ICS rom to get it to charge.

I don't care if its better than the OEM battery. I've just been using Anker batteries for my Infuse and they worked just as well as OEM. I trust Anker so I'd like to continue supporting them. If the battery is as good as OEM then that isgood enough for me, I'd just switch them out once a day anyways.

Is there any bulge when using the i9100 battery with a i777? OEM back cover fits and works just as fine with the OEM battery?

What battery is the best to buy with this phone? Like ankers and such. And please provide the link where you brought the battery at!
I bought a 2450mAh battery off eBay for around 10 bucks. It's supposed to be an extra 38% in total power compared to the stock battery but you can't be sure with these things. I don't know of any name-brand batteries but this one seems to work.

I have two of the Anker batteries. One is as good as stock, the other one sucks. Bought at the same time. YMMV
hi
mugen 3600 mah is the best if you want the strongest battery on the market.
I bought these. Not too bad. I get about 4 more hours than the OEM HTC battery.

+1, I have two of the Anker Batteries ($30 with wall charger) and they are superb. I get about 10-14 hours on CM10 and 8-12 hours on the stock ROM with pretty heavy use.
Anker for me as well for the Amaze. If Zerolemon made a battery for the Amaze I'd buy that.

Like I have said before, I also bought 2 of the Anker batteries. One works as you describe, the other is worse than my OEM. Maybe their quality has improved.

the one i showed you is made in japan not a chinese one :/ i duno looks pretty much same well my stock battery is like 2 months old so i can go for a lil more while
A good one
I found this one on Amazon. I ordered one and it lasts better than any other one I've tried. I think they are factory rejects; the water sticker is red and the labels are on backwards. But I don't care if it provides maximum battery life. I ordered a couple more for spares.

+1. Get an original 2000mAh battery. Been using the same one for 16 mths now, never missed a beat (But I don't abuse it by running the phone hot or overdoing the charging/discharging thing).

Depends on where you are. Just try on ebay.com for Anker battery for Smasung Galaxy SII and that should do. I am in India and I got a good offer on 2 batteries with a universal battery charger (all Anker products) and they are working just fine. I charge the batteries using the charger and switch the batteries and almost never do I charge the phone directly as it becomes too hot.
