Hi,
Since the question is without root, the repply is NO.
The launcher has nothing to do with the transparent status bar... It's related with SystemUI.apk...

Exactly, and to add another bit of wisdom to Viking37's wisdom, you won't find launcher in /data, its in /system/app directory.

You can try an app called StatusBar+. It overlays the stock status bar, and has a bunch of customizations.

It's against the rules to bump a thread more than once every 24 hours
Have you checked themes and apps section? There is a thread dedicated with themes

hmm, excellent question. i wouldn't mind seeing this somehow implemented into stock
why don't you make it yourself? Editing framework.apk should do it :good:

SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk can be found in /system/app.
Otherwise, tough not for XXELLA, but the newer XXEMB5 and some earlier, try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1903882
