Hello guys!
I've recently installed Android x86 4 RC2 in my Asus T101MT booting from SD.
The OS works perfect but I have a brightness issue. I can control the brightnes via FN keys but the max settings is not really max. My monitor is more bright with pre-installed Windows 7. I heard that many peoples have brightness issues with Android x86.
Please can you tell me how to fix that?
PS: I'm a very newbie with Linux and shell so if you can help me, please be more detailed
Thank you very much.

Hello,
is there a way for a generic display calibration for gingerbread?
Generic means a display calibration that is independend from smartphone/display producer and display driver.
[Ideally this is not solved in the android source (e. g. solved in linux kernel or X11 - but android does not use X11). Why? It works then also in MeeGo and other smartphone systems with linux kernel. This as an idea. I'm interested also for solutions that work only with android, too.]
Is it possible to run tslib? (See: processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Tslib )

Recently i had tried flashing this AOSP Android 4.4.4 CN / ROW by bauuuuu on my lenovo P780 8gb ROW version and the results was absolutely amazing! The device became way more faster compared to stock. The ram in use was always stay above 400mb even after i installed all the necessary apps. There were only 2 minor issues i found and need helps with:-
1. the built in camera apps HDR mode is not working (i uninstalled it and replace with lenovo super camera app for which the HDR works fine, but i still like to know the solution if there is any)
2. there is a "screen off gesture" featuring the double tap to wake function but it is not working after i tried enabling it. What is the possible cause and solution?
Thanks for answering my questions and sorry for my bad english.

Hello everybody !
Is anybody working / thinking of working on a Android Oreo ( Go Edition ) port for our Gear S devices ?
I'm not a dev , but I consider myself a enthusiastic user / tester as I have 2 SM-R750 , one running Android Wear port ( not really reaching my needed level of usability with the lack of modem support ) and the other running 5.1.1 CM12.1 with BT-fix ( dailydriver for the past year and some ) although struggling with the 12 to 14 hour of battery life that I experience with the usuall tricks ( NoFrills CPU 300-600 , Tasker , no wallpaper , using 2G , working with Pixel Filter ( although there ar some interferences with the answer slider ) ).
I belive Android Go could be a very good platform for our devices , and I whould love to switch my Android Wear watch to running a developing Android Go rom if anyone whould give it a try .
