the theme don't modify your launcher theme, modifies only the notifications bar, look the screen, and a few more items.
can we get it to modify only the lock screen, excluding everything else as you have mentioned? []look the screen, and a few more items] what other items?

you can open framework-res with a WinZIP, and modify the files in (res / drawable-mdpi)

Yeah, actually Apollo project has stopped. Just had a quick read into why Apollo was pulled from the Play Store. Andrew Neal, the developer of the app is currently counterclaiming a DMCA request over infringement by his app

Since we can't update our Search app to higher versions, I themed the GB search widget to look like ICS.

Seeing what the contents of the zip are, looks like something to be flashed from recovery.
Did any of you get this to work.
Tried to install it in recovery without any change to phone.
Installer says it is installed ok, but nothing changes?

It says in OP. Install as normal apk. You need a theme chooser enabled launcher though.
