Hello there, when using any of the latest jellybean roms, looking on my external micro sd card...it shows nothing....with ics i used to use ics binder from the market on aosp/aopk ics roms, and all items on both cards would show....although in mucic player/gallery on jb it shows external sd items...but nothing showing on file explorers? Is there a trick or program similar to ics binder for jellybean??

u can find the same under Storage/Sdcard1 in file explorer with JB.
u can try 'remount sd' app and see, search xda for the app not play store.
RemountSD didnt work, again, only works on CM9/AOSP/AOKP ICS
i have problem with jelly bean rom, im wondering if you can help me solve this problem.
i tried so many different jelly bean rom, but none of these roms can't load anything from SD card.
i already try format the SD card, and still don't work.
can you please help me solve this problem?
thank you!!!

In Jellybean,
1. Your
external SD can be found in /storage/sdcard1
2. If you don't know how to find this, download Solid Explorer or Es file explorer.
- Solid Explorer will locate your external SD automatically for you.
- Es file explorer will add your external SD to "favorites" automatically

Honeycomb can't move apps to the SD card. The SD card is only for additional storage for moveies or music.
App2SD is a pre HC feature
oke thats also clear will this be the same with the new sandwich 4.0 software?

I was wondering the same, as it let's you take advantage of all of the internal memory for apps, if that's how you wish to use it.

Hey guys im after a ringtone maker which is compatible with JB.. seems all the ringtone makers on the market at the moment only read songs from SDCARD & not the extSD..
Currently on Paranoid ROM (V. Latest) using a 64GB fat32 card...
If anyone has any recommendations for any apps etc. please post !
Just create a folder "MEDIA" and inside create another folder "RINGTONES"(sdcard>>media>>ringtones) on your external sd card. You can put any mp3 and they will appear in your phone ringtones list. You can create ANY ringtones you want from any audio editing software(many of them are free).

Appreciate the reply, will definitely look into it.
Question: Are you able to browse your music library through the app and choose which song you want to edit ?

you can try link2sd for linking apps to sd its better than moving
If the mobile basically made as ics then jb can be updated.
So it happens...

Sorry I didn't noticed that.
If you really want to find solution for your problem, maybe you can specify what apps you want to move?
Anyway here are some possible solutions to your problem:
move apps. just saw them on google search.
[GUIDE] Simple method to move apps to SD without link2sd or scripts
Afcourse you can but you can also link application to sd by using link 2 sd...you will have to crate external FAT32 partition using minitoolbar partetion pro winzard...there is no need to downgrade to ics! All the best buddy!

As most of you I have the same problem with my SD card. I started "playing" with my phone yesterday....
I have Xperia Neo V and i installed today CyanogenMod. - It looks fine but ... no apps. Furthermore I tried to create partitions over my SD card with
MiniTool Partition Wizard. I tried to install the Jelly Bean, but I get the message that sd card cannot be mounted. Can somebody help me with details over the procedure? (download links and steps)
Thanks in advance
I think the instructions are too fuzzy for me ...
Hi @spirto82 you originally posted your question into a HTC One S thread, so I moved your post into the proper device forum.

I think you've created a wrong file system while partitioning. Mind elaborating what file system did you select while making the partition?

I formated the SD as an NFS partition and as Primary and solved the problem! Indeed it was the file system type!
