[Xperia U] GPS so weak... - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi guys,
I´m so in love with my Xperia U. I´m using it for about a month, moded with krabappel2548´s kernel and ROM (SSpeed Kernel & ROM).
But I´m very disapointed with its GPS. I don´t remmember if the stock firmware was good because I´ve unlocked and flashed it with 1 day of use.
I've tried some GPS fixed from here (thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825717), but within 1 meter inside my apartment the GPS signal drops down, even in front a window, loosing the entire signal. Comparing to my previous android cellphone SE Xperia X10 mini pro (moded with GB 2.3.7 MiniCM7 and nAa kernel), the Xperia U really sucks. X10mp in the same conditions got a strong signal, with 5 meter accuracy and lots os satellites. I´ve got either the Motorola Xoom tablet (MZ605/MZ601 running JB from EOS XDA thread) and the accuracy and signal are strong even in the middle of my apartment (about 6 meters from all windows, accuracy flawless).
Ideas? Maybe I´ve got a bricked Xperia U?
Thank you,
Alexandre

The same matter is discussed all over Sony's forum. Its the problem with the software.
It reads the latitude and longitude as negative values, and the GPS ain't able to locate you. Atleast, that's what I understood.
And its fixable. They say: Wait for ICS
Some 2011 models had the same problem, and it was fixed by the ICS update.

mini pro - GSM buzz

Hi,
A few months ago, I purchased a Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 mini pro form buy.com (US website). The phone has been working great except for one problem.
Whenever the phone is operating over GSM, quite a bit of “GSM buzz“ noise can be heard through the speaker. This obviously does not occur when a call is being placed over WCDMA (due to the different modulation technique).
Is my phone defective or is it a case of poor design? I was using a custom rom but I reverted back to the stock rom just to make sure. The problem is still there.
Thanks a lot!

Xperia Neo Firmware on X10?

Hello,
yesterday arrives the new Xperia Neo for my wife and of course i had to do some comparisons.
First of all, the scrolling overall is very smooth, its very near to the iphone 4 or i must better say, it's the same.
The automatic flashlight works good.
But the screen itselves looks a way darker and not so sharp like the x10 (or is it only up to me? )
Now the final question, its possible to port the Neo Firmware to the x10?
Thanks in advance
Ok there seems to bee no idea about that..

[Project] Turn Xperia Mini to the best training device

Hello Xda.
I´ve just bought me a Xperia Mini ST15i with the intention of creating the best training device there is. The hardware of the device is just perfect to turn it into a training device.
Small
Lightweight
Bluetooth
Cheap
Ant+
GPS
FM-radio
Spotify
SD-card
Camera
Internet
I really hope some or some one of you are interested of helping me with this. I am all new to modify a phone completely and need your help to succeed.
What I´m looking for is how to slim everything down as much as possible to get the most out of the battery and still have the functions above working. Especially the ANT+ since I have both a heart rate monitor and cadence monitor.
Where should I start?
I recommend to start in changing your device into a st17i (xperia active).
That have all the characteristics of your st15i + it is water proof and shock resistent. But I guess thats not what you want to hear
