That made me think about what floating touch could be used for, like gestures, system control, gaming.... Its very sad that it acutally only works in the browser and in cosmic flow so we need some talented devs to make some more use of floating touch! Maybe sony will surprise us with some more things in ics but i dont think so. What are your thoughts?

I own no floating touchy device but it sounds innovative hope its put into more use so disabled people can use phones
It seems kind of restrictive because only the Xperia sola has that capacity.
A little example could be using it to dismiss notifications. The functionality of swiping to dismiss stuff is ready, and it could get a cool touch (pun intended) in the sola, à la Minority Report, if you can dismiss apps and notifications without even touching the phone.
XUTT
Some days ago I asked if there was any app which uses floating touch, but as you said, hope that sony make something about this and give us something usefull
Today i tried weather it works in adobe flash inside the browser but sadly it doesnt.

Thanks mate. My first impression is that this keyboard works very comfortable and smooth. It has some options to do correction based on your sentences and not only on the characters you type. You can also select the level of correction. As last I want to add that I feel as if this is the fastest keyboard I ever used. Great find!!

Hey Everyone, i recently installed the amazing CM10 JB Alpha from FreeXperia team on my Xperia S for the first time ever using a CyanogenMod rom . I am loving this rom so far its amazingly smooth and fast despite the alpha bugs. However, i was missing the on screen buttons that i had on the ICS rom. I looked everywhere for a framework that includes the soft buttons for CM10 but unfortunately i couldnt find any. I was so desperate for the soft buttons that i couldnt wait untill someone post them so i had to learn how to do it my self, and after a long night of researching and trying and after i ran into some issues that took me the whole night to fix, i finally figure out how to do it so i thought of sharing the framework here with whoever prefer the soft buttons.
Anyways, i attached the file and BTW the good news for people who want to launch Google Now by swiping up from home button like on JB Galaxy Nexus, with this framework, you can. Also i decreased the height of the buttons a little bit i hope you like
you can push it via adb with command: adb push "framework-res.apk" /system/framework/
or you can just copy it to /system/framework/ and change the permissions
Enjoy

Maybe, we can implement this api in a rom sometimes?
Yes we can have normal gestures and floating getures in one framrwork but i dont know how to compile apks in eiclipse coz it is compiling with normal framework and this will give some errors
