Hey guys i updated my phn to latest firmware ICS and its awesome but i have faced some random reboots.... Is anyone having same issue?????

Facing the same problem, im on vision v2 ROM , phone randomly reboots.
I am on. .544 stock firmware.. It does not give Any problems to me.

Hello,
I found out a verry anoying bug on my xperia s, while browsing the 3G signal stays but it can't connect.
I'm running the latest .50 firmware with xtxperience 4 installed.
Does anybody know any fix or tips?

Definitely stock 2.50 kernel? Not 2.45 cus the issue is gone in 2.50.
Have you unlocked the bootloader or not?

No not unlocked I flashed .50 with flashtool and my info also says I'm on .50, could it be the rom?

Hmmm strange, because everyone seems to say that the issue has now gone since .50
Might be worth trying a different rom then?

im on 6.1.A.0.453 i have the same problem and theres no uk update to .50
I am on .50 and it does still happen, just a lot less than in previous firmwares.

I decided to check my APN settings which i downloaded with the browser and they weren't right so i changed it and everything is OK now thanks anyway

ive wrote a letter to sony to about the xperia s 3g problems battery drain and lots more also said if you not bothered to send us update or fix dont bother sending your phones to uk waiting for a reply

Maybe is tim your XS?? I had the same problem with stock rom

when i am connected with wifi and after a few seconds, it keeps on authenticating. it is really hard for my phone to connect. by the way i am using the serenity v2.1 and panic kernel.

one says, it an ics bug, so if i flashed custom rom which is a jellybean, does the wifi problems will be fixed?
I'm using rage kernel on my lww and im experiencing reboots and so much lag everytime I connect to usb. Can you guys help me fix this bug? Or recommend a more compatible kernel? My rom is real ics.

Sometimes, kernel n rom need more time to adapt each other. If the probems persist, do some experiment to try all compatible kernel.

cant decide which to flash ....ics v4 requires unlocked bootloader which i can do off in a while ..but think its still beta state

Im on fera's new generation rom, some apps crashing, and phone lag's up and reboots. and im on fera's kernel so i dont think that is the problem.
even if you didnt ask for it, i suggest other roms. Jaf is good but i found it ugly and "nothing special" in performance. Cm7zmod and m&ms cm7 had great performance and stamina, and you could fit the look with cmthemes. For locked bootloader, dixperia 7/ 8 was great, best for a stable experience

I recently flashed jaf rom. Today when it became unresponsive I took out the battery and replaced it back. After that when ever I try taking photos it says " memory card error. Save failed "

you're on JB ULTIMATE ROM V11?
+1,i also faced this problem,because of insufficient ram and it will dissapear while typing...and sometime back very fast,sometime back after 1-2 mins...
Tried using others keyboard,same.
So i decided back to ICS ROM
