just a noobi question.. can we flashboot any type of kernel then flash whatever rom we have? or is a kernel designed to a specific rom?

You can tray different kernel most of them work with any rom,but some times some work better than others depending on the rom

A couple of days ago I made a Fusion Package of ported features of Xperia S in addition to some stock features of Xperia Go (which is more compatible with our mdpi phones) for personal use. My purpose was to have all updates & features by flashing just on zip instead of flashing and adding over and over. So I came up with this package and felt it so good that I decided to share it with others. Hope you enjoy too!

which phone, firmware do you use? it seems you are not on .62 FW (you have an update notification in the picture)
if you want to flash without fonts just extract zip and remove system/fonts folder then rezip and flash

ICS, rooted, cwm not in rom installed, because backup made on rage kernel for 4.0.4:
Download down, will reupload it!

You don't need this backup, use flashtool to go back to stock rom. Just flash the stock gb/ics ftf for your device and flash it using flashtool :good:

Can u just head over to Xperia Play PAC thread ? As I saw wedges told someone to go there and download !
By the way u can try Turbo kernel by Cosmic as it work on the Rom u asked for too

in detail whenever i click on the link provided in the file im redirected to mediafire where it says file not found.............

Hey guys can i have the download link for the latest miui rom for xperia by munjeni....i know there's a link in the oroginal post,but it takes me to a download link for xperia go download page... Please help!!!
Check in the Sola development section there are 3 miui to choose from
Munjeni (links not available), imaneserus, acervenky( both others don't know whether links working or no)..
All if the above dev has stopped due to some reasons or the other so further assistance won't be provided over there you can post queries and help in respective sections...

All we remember that Sony sertified new GB stock 4.0.2.A.0.84 at December 2012. It coming to us!
Here:
1) Original firmware (vodafone customized) downloaded for me by the_laser (in *.SIN format):
yandex.disk, mediafire.com
this is two files 15 MB and 169 MB.
2) flashable *.FTF file compiled by Intuki: yandex.disk
(bloatware not removed, this is full vodafone untouched stock).
3) repack4pda .84 rom by our great frend wway: <-- our choice
without gapps: yandex.disk, dev-host
4) repack4pda .84 with gapps: yandex.disk
wway remove about 70 bloatware apks.
5) baseband 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028D-86 (thanks to Intuki): yandex.disk, dev-host.
use this rom free and say thanks for our guys! (I only post this message)
ps. what kernel? use your everyday kernel for GB.
oh yes, with this rom comes new baseband, .86.
pps. if yandex.disk not good for you, please re-upload to any other servers and give me a link I include it here.
ppps. whats new? usually Sony do not say about this, so we don't know what is new

The most great part of this new .84 ROM is the new keyboard!!! GB keyboard here finally got dot and comma near the space key!
Missing comma nad dot on the all keyboards in GB-based ROMs was a real disadvantage vs. the ICS ROMs. Now it's rectified!

Yes, it has some bloatware like UEFA website links, etc.
If you take the Repak version - it's pretty clean of everything non related to the system itself.

I use the new fancy lupus GB kernel at the moment , which works great.
Cannot tell about battery drain yet, but the kernel has lots of governors to play with. Furthermore i added the repack4pda V7 (old) toggle bar.
If i have the time then I will make a new illuminative GB rom from this one for now, i just use this one as it is.
