[APP] Task manager S III For LT15i - Xperia Arc Themes and Apps

Hi . I have tested it .
It was work my LT15i with .587 .
Download the apk .
Move it to system folder .
Long press it and change the permissions to rw-r--r-- .
Then move it to system app folder .

and this is really ussesfully? or just a app more than sony laggy stuffs?

This is useless actually. It eat more ram than just display free ram. And task killer/clear memory actually eat more battery life cause android have to rebuild cache. This is one of the samsung crap app include in their device. Just use Setting to display your current ram stat.

How can I increase my x10 ram?

How can I increase my x10 ram or rom to increase performance of my device to having no lags?
What can I do with running apps that I don't use which run ever and ever in background..
Sent from my X10 using xda premium
Use Ram Manager from market
Flash roms that use little ram. Or delete some background programs/apps/systemtools you don´t need via root uninstaller. But remember the X10 only has 256 MB ram and you won´t get the whole 256 to use, because android needs some and this is unavoidable. Furthermore you can use Adrenaline Boost - but be careful ! Just search Adrenaline boost in forum or in google
If i helped, don´t be shy and hit the thanks button
Download advanced task manager then in settings set auto kill level to aggressive and auto kill frequency to when screen turns off works a dream
also to save memory you can actually move apps that cannot be moved to SD with app2sd by selecting move 2 SD on titanium backup pro by long pressing on the app u wish to move

Sent from my X10i using xda premium
But if u use App2SD, make sure your SDCard - Class is fast or may some tools wouldn´t work proper. Furtermore I don´t suggest Taskkiller for newbs, or useres which don´t know what it does. If you know the Android System, you will get to know that it manages programs automatically- it freezes and closes them if memory is needed. Task killers can damage your device and further drain your battery! If it always kills apps it can crash system tools! So think twice before installing a task killer

[ROM][U][ALL BLs] TinyXperiaLite™ v0.5 - Based on Vision™Rom

Introducing, a new ROM based on the amazing acervenky's Vision™Rom,
TinyXperiaLite™
Many people want simple, fast and bloat free ROMs. They only want the bare minimum ROM so that they can freely add and tweak (the ROM or directly, the sources) so as to customize it as they please. I know I do. I want to take a minimum ROM, flash it on my phone and then add AC!D Audio Engine 5.0 and Sony Xperia T Small Apps to it. These are my personal modifications that suit me. And similarly, there will be modifications that will suit others as well. So, presenting TinyXperiaLite. The main purpose of this ROM is to enable you to make what you want for your device. Add apps, features, change boot animation, add ring tones and what not because this ROM weighs in only at 76 MB (for Release v0.1) and can support all your demands.

Battery & RAM Tweaking Guide
Battery Calibration Tutorial
FOR THOSE WITH BATTERY PROBLEMS:
1. After flashing your phone with a new ROM, install this software:
BATTERY CALIBRATOR on Play Store - 47 KB size
2. Then, charge your phone to 100%.
3. IMPORTANT. Remove CHARGER first.
4. IMMEDIATELY hit "Battery Calibration" (1 or 2 seconds delay is fine, wait for BATTERY voltage to drop and be stable)
5. Use your phone normally (don't charge in between) till it hits 1%.
6. Then charge your phone UNINTERRUPTED (leave it for charging all night) till 100%.
7. Unplug and start using. You should be having as little as 2-3% battery drain for 6-8 hours of IDLING now. That's the optimization of a calibrated battery.

Extra Battery Saving Tips:
1. Set a brightness level. Do not use Auto Brightness, it sips more power in turn.
2. Set ROTATION to OFF if you are not using Landscape Mode at all.
3. Use EXTENDED BATTERY Mode if you actively use WiFi/Mobile Data.
RAM Cleaning
- Do not use task killers
- Freeze/Move to Quarantine those APPS which you DO NOT USE regularly and you don't want them TO RUN IN THE BACKGROUND
APP QUARANTINE on Play Store
Go ahead, try it. Move all unwanted apps to quarantine now!
DEEP SLEEP STATE battery saving
Your phone sips the least amount of power when it is in DEEP SLEEP STATE. There is a new app in the marketplace which can FORCE DEEP SLEEP STATE on your phone. This is especially useful if you want the phone to conserve battery for hours and then wake up for a minute and sync all new alerts in one go. This can help prolong your usage on a single charge.
DEEP SLEEP BATTERY SAVER on Play Store
This app is under development and can be found on XDA developers forums itself. Here's the link to the thread:
[APP] [2.1+] Deep Sleep Battery Saver
How Deep sleep Battery Saver works
Deepsleep battery saver constantly puts the device to deepsleep mode while screen off. During deepsleep mode, Wifi, 3G are turned off, background apps are stopped. Therefore, most apps are not working, including Facebook, Google Service, etc,. It then constantly wakes up in order to download email, sync Facebook status, etc, which is defined by deepsleep frequency and woke up duration
By constantly put device into deepsleep mode, we will save battery life due to no Internet connection, and therefore most of network-based apps, such as Facebook, Gmail will not work.
Caution: during deepsleep mode on, this app may disrupt your normal activities, such as your email notification comes with larger delay.
In advanced mode, you can customize more parameters, including day/night settings, active period, screen timeout, sync strategy, ignored apps, etc,.

What else has been modified? What about the UI?
It's Trebuchet Launcher.
And the only bug that may be there is ext_sd mounting when connected in Mass Storage Mode.

How do I add governers for the ROM? If I find out, I most definitely will.
Also, THANK YOU FOR THE SCREENS.
And finally, do you think I should stick to the launcher or move to XperiaLauncher?
Best rom for our Xperia U. Period. I actually have a locked bootloader and don't want to unlock it. I want to upgrade to ICS but B.10 is slow, .54 has many bugs and C.10 is branded. So I guess I'll have a go on this rom
No offense but r u sure that this rom has everything working despite its small size... And what is the difference between this and infinity rom besides the size. I mean if something is reduced in size then something has to be less. No offense. Thank you

Root FW, install CWM and flash this ZIP. Make backup before that.
does it come with a default keyboard? and if yes, which one?
- I enjoy xperia kb's sliding function in both english and greek a bit too much to give up.
[edit, since we're already talking about this rom, my staple lockscreen request!]
is it possible to change the camera shortcut to mute (like it was in stock GB ?) - much more useful imo - considering the camera is sub-par anyway.

ram

i have a neo v with android 4.2.2 aosp.. 3.4.54 nAa kernal
i have a few questions:
-1 google services eat 29 mb of memory.. when i look at running apps it say google location manager and services...
i dont use them .. i just want the google c2dm push notification.. how i can turn them off ?
-2 how to make the long press volume key in lock screen turn to next track ? (like in cm 10.1 rom )
-3 is there any tweaks to have more free ram ? more battery ? (because i run aosp rom )
1. Install "Disable Services" from google play store and you can disable them
2. You need to mod Framework i think, because its aosp
3. Search for supremacy tweak pack here in neo or arc section
Sent from my MT15i using xda app-developers app
for more free ram and battery you can try app Grenify.
it can be used to hibernate app when you dont use them.
the app still can be launch like normal and it will hibernated when you dont use them to save battery and ram.
try it

And Now I present to you gentlemen then infamous flatline which I have been searching for
Overnight discharge 0%
App which I think made it possible.
Greenify
And various In ROM tweaks.
One whole week of full charge to full discharge. Combined with the app mentioned & tweaks in ROM I could achieve a flatline(meaning 0% discharge) when the screen was off. But the problem is when the screen came back on battery dropped 1% every 15-20 Mins(with net turned on)

Sure!
Well i did a lot of things but those which concern battery use were:
-After some trying other roms i noticed that .431 had better battery use and a lot of mods so i choose this one to make my perfect rom.
-Removed all bloatware and even some non bloatware system apps that i dont use (taken from several threads like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1614761
, I experimented freezing some apps that i thought werent necessary but i didn t want to delete, like clockserivice.apk or even semcalendar.apk
-Installed New xperia JB 4.2 Adreno libs for our little arm cpu.
-Ive tried Greenify but it doesnt seem to work for me.(but my mini pro doesnt need it , its super fast)
-Most recently ive frozen SystemUI service "LoadAverageService" Which seems to take some unecessary RAM Use. (i havent had any problem)
-I've searched for those apps that are light , fast and RAM friendly (Nova launcher, quickpic, whatsapp+ , google keyboard, etc)
(replaced sony camera app with JB camera sony camera had some thumbnail bug)
-I dont use Facebook app everytime i install it my phone slows down.
-Moved most of apps to sd via ext partition ( Link2sd) ive only left in internal those one that i really need to be responsive like the app launcher
Also fixed most problems with .431 rom like the LED and some other things i really cant remember ( ive had this rom for so much time , that level of satisfaction i have)
In things not related to battery:
-Installed Stock AOSP FUll Black SystemUI (I love the JB UI) (modded by me to have a clock) from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840580.

This is the thread where i got the trick http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2372363 maybe you can look for more opinions , for me its worth it as it doesnt affect any functionality in my sk17
About disabling google services , do some research (or crazy experiments  ) about what does it do every running service you would like to stop. I still dont have knowledge enough to recommend mingling with that services and i totally wouldnt recommend it.
