Bluetooth Media Play/Pause - Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE

I just recently switched from the Rezound to the DI4G, and found that the Bluetooth in my car cannot play/pause music with this device in any application other than Play Music. Skipping songs works perfectly, both next and previous, and the sound quality is pretty good
I was wondering if any1 else had this same issue, or if they have found a fix for it.
I have encountered this with other roms on other phones, never really found a definitive fix.. even with root,
any Ideas?

Sound stuttering via A2DP/Bluetooth

Hi, I am using the tornado a2dp fix and got A2DP working with a Sony bluetooth headphone set and the sound is great but it stutters. I tried WMA and even the HTC music player and its still the same (although a little better with WMA).
Is anyone else having these issues?
I may try updating the firmware (if avalible) or removing the A2DP thing and trying this instead:
http://sheehantu.wordpress.com/2007/05/25/enabling-a2dp-on-windows-mobile-5-phones/
has anyone tried this? does it work?
Does anyone having skipping music via A2DP? ANy fixes?
Thanks. all help appreciated!
I get the occasionall drop-out of music over a2dp. Every 30 seconds or so?
Not sure how to fix it - Works perfectly from my laptop. I don't think it's a signal strenght issue either as if I hold my jasjam next to my head it still does it.

Hi Just tried that prog and so far is NOT working......
Edit: It DOES work.
Bit fiddly to work it out but hey presto............. and stereo.
Listening to 'Pulse' ATM and not dropping out. Whahayyy!
i tried ripping a CD to WMA using media player at 128kbps and it works fine via A2DP with no skipping, so i think it just struggles with high bitrate songs and VBR MP3.
Update:
I tried an MP3 at 128kpbs and it skips, but when using a 128kbps WMA file it works perfect. So if you plan on using bluetooth headphones, get wmp 11 to convert everything to 128kbps WMA and you'll have not one problem.
Ok i have been playing with this and found a solution.
Use TCMCP. This plays AAC,WMA,MP3 and also video but if you embed the album art into the music file it will display this too. You can play the music at any bitrate and it doesn't skip with a2dp and bluetooth headphones.
And when you run this you have about 20MB avalible ram free.
To sort out your music and embed album art try music monkey.
Have fun!
I have the Pulsar 590A headset. Regarding stuttering audio; One thing to keep in mind; if you have paired it with your mobile phone, and later start a different pairing operation with bluetooth on your laptop, then the old connection with your phone may still connect automatically as a "mono headset" without you being aware of it. If you then connect the headset (manually) on your laptop to listen to stereo music (A2DP) the connection appears to succeed but you might get stuttering audio because you are also connected to your phone ! These seem to be two independent services that fight for bandwidth. I found that out when I happened to press the Dial button on the headset an to my surprise my phone (located in the hallway) called up my girlfriend ! And old pairing job I had done half a year ago and forgot about...Once I removed the phone pairing altogether (=phone link disconnected) the laptop music A2DP playback worked fine again. Can be a good thing to check in case you get stuttering audio.

Is It Just me or is there an issue with Android & (some) Bluetooth Stereo Devices?

Is It Just me or is there an issue with Android & (some) Bluetooth Stereo Devices?
Using a Jabra BT3030 I get the lovely convenience of receiving a phonecall and wirelessly listening to music but, it just seems VERY buggy at times. The main thing is after being on a call (mostly receiving a call but many times making a call also bugs things up) and trying to play music or any audio in the G1, sound just stutters baaadly
Thought it was just when my G1 was rooted but as I run it on stock still get the same thing. When I toyed around with the Motorola Droid in Verizon store the other day after wowing myself and seeing that it had a working phone signal I paired my headset to it and played music & watched youtube vids on there... after calling the Droid phone and then trying to play back sounds guess what? Stuttering playback!!
The stuttering stops when I turn the Jabra off then back on but (a) this is annoying for obvious reasons (b) there may be times when things are finicky with pairing/re-pairing headset with phone. There's other little annoyances here & there like some lag @ times when trying to pause/ff/rw but the stuttering crap annoys me and going by the Droid running 2.0 it's still a problem then.
Thus I'm wondering how everyone's experience is with whatever bluetooth stereo (A2DP) device their pairing with their G1's (or any other android device you using). I'm hoping it isn't just my Jabra BT3030 but sadly accept the possibility it -could- be the culprit . Phonecalls for the most part are clear even while sound goes through buggy (altho I had a couple moments where the phone would reboot when a call comes in on my Dream but didn't happen in a while *knocks on wood*).
I am also having problems with my Jabra BT3030. Im using BlueMagic MKrII ROM. Major issue is that I cannot go foward or backwards between tracks, nor pause or play. Only the volume works. And I've noticed that when I artivate the google voice app, my music stutters from then on.

[Q] Bluetooth car control issue

So I recently got a 2011 Subaru Impreza and it came with built in bluetooth and music controls on the steering wheel.
The first time I pair my thunderbolt with the car everything works fantastically.
I can hear my music and I can control songs with the steering wheel buttons.
After I leave the car or turn off/on the bluetooth, the music will still play through the speakers, but I lose the steering wheel controls.
The only way I have found to fix this is to completely un-pair and re-pair the device.
Has anyone else had this issue, and does anyone have any idea how I can fix it?
I only have 1 media player installed (winamp, and well the default music app) so I don't think its a problem with handing off bluetooth control (again, winamp plays the music fine, the steering wheel controls just stop working).
I have tried this with Songbird and PowerAmp (uninstalling the others while the other is installed) and the issue still persists.
I am on OMFGB 1.30 nightlies 7-20 with imoseons most recent lean kernel
Never used OMFGB specifically but I've definitely had times I had to un-pair/pair bluetooth housephones.
In your case though, first question I would ask is if your device is still playing music @ the time the connection is broken. If so, try to stop playing and close the music app before leaving the car or turning off bluetooth. Perhaps it's screwing up because of this sync loss while the app is running. Just a guess for you to check out.
Yea, I've tried just about everything.
I am thinking it might be an OMFGB issue.
I don't recall if it happened on bamf 1.8 or not.
Guess I should see.

Bluetooth headset connects but can't stream audio

My Motorola H17 pairs and connects to my TP but there's no sound when playing music or audio. It works fine with my Optimus V phone using the BT-Mono app to redirect the sound out to the headset. I've tried BT-Mono which appears to function correctly (no errors etc), but when I switch it over no audio through the H17 although the tablet speaker is muted as it should be.
Is there something else I need to do on the Prime to switch the sound over, is it an incompatibility issue with this headset, or is there another app that would work? I've searched a bit and apparently others with BT headsets get them working with TP, but also found very little on the subject. Perhaps it's the lack of phone functionality with some headsets? I'd try another brand/model if I was sure it would work.
Thanks for any help.
Get audio manager from the market, there is both pay and free, pay attention to incall volume. It worked for me, seems incall volume is defaulted to zero at least in my case.

Bluetooth music quality

Does anyone else have issues playing music downloaded to the watch through bluetooth headphones? My watch seems to be playing music through the bluetooth phone profile instead of the music profile because it sounds horrible! It skips and has a lot of static. If I connect to a bluetooth speaker it is fine, but I haven't had any luck with headphones. Trying to decide if it's software related or if I should just exchange it. Didn't have this issue with the Huawei watch.
Works fine with my Bose Bluetooth over the ears.
