I believe zedomax has a tutorial on the ginberbread version. which should be the same process on ICS.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Eh? All kernels are working...
And this is leaked FW. Are you sure you want to use it?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a stock ROM to revert to.
Need to stop flashing as its going to be the end of me lol.
ICS will do as well.

Neat Rom! (+4.1 mods are nice)
Since cm is and always will be buggy as hell on the i9100, I suggest you try a custom sammy Rom.
As stated before. Sammobile.com

OTA updates are only updates. They are not entire roms. no a Samsung OTA update will not work on non Samsung ROMs like CM. Its like trying to play an Xbox game on a playstation
I still have the stock rom which I use as my main rom

OTA only works uprooted with original status on stock Rom, hence that's what you have to do if you want them back. Guides are in the stickies.

So to get ota updates back I have to unroot?

You would need to reset flash counter and flash a stock ROM officially, yes.
You could just flash custom TouchWiz ROMs instead though.
Ok thx, I was just wondering what actually caused it.

Pretty much everything you did, if you did them on their own, would still have caused it.
Ok thx for clearing that all up for me
