Inverted Gapps for AOSP(Tested on CM9) - HTC Rezound

Here is a set of Google apps that I have collected, tested, and would like to share. This is not my work, I collected them from various other users, and I give them full credit as well as Google.
Gapps dl: http://db.tt/WsFF89Ux
You should be able to just install these via file explorer. There is a flash able zip for gtalk. Let me know if anyone has issues. Enjoy.
If I am using your work, please let me know, I will update with proper credits or remove if you wish. Thanks again

Before I post any links, I have a nearly complete set of Google apps, inverted. I want to share, as I haven't seen anyone else post them here. I've tested them all and they work on dmeadows current cm9 build. What I want to know is if I need to credit the forums and people I downloaded from or just Google since its their apps. Thanks

If you didn't make them yourself credit the people who's work you are posting...and google if you want lol

I can't remember which came from where or really who gets credit. I guess no posting, but I can share other ways right? Like pm, email, etc?

This is what I hate about all forums like this. I'm not a developer and collect various things from all over the place but have no way of knowing where I got them from. If someone is really looking for something I have that someone else made I post it with a statement something like, "This isn't my work, I have no idea where it came from, take no credit for it and am simply sharing something that was shared with me. If this is your work and want me to update this post to relfect that just let me know." I haven't had any problems yet that I know of!

Yes, do exactly what he said and if the original poster of the files ask you to edit/remove the post just do as he says and you should have no problems

problem with inverted apps is the color choices used. usually based on ics blue. if you didn't know I think almost all gapps is themed if you apply a cm theme. I'm on one from the market and everything is red themed for me.

I'm not sure if there's a difference, but I only tested them on aosp cm9. Can someone else try them on cm9 to see if they work.

OK, think I figured out the issue. The apks have to be moved manually, and then permissions set correctly. Sorry, didn't pay attention when I originally set them up on my phone.

In the past I have found I need to push them into system/app with the terminal emulator and the type "sync" inorder for android to recognize them. Unless I sync they won't load even after a reboot.

Calm down man. AOKP is a specific rom. Not just a jumble if letters. He put what the theme was for in the title... I don't think he needed to spell it out any more than that.

[ROM][4.0.4] Slim ICS (SGS2) - Clean, Simple & Fast (57MB)-i777-*AWESOME*

Here is a very slim ICS rom that I ported for the i777; its only 57 MB! Should get great battery life and good preformance! I want to thanks kootsez for his hell-raising tool found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1484223
Be sure to go to the developer krarvind's page and thank him for this great rom, which is found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1536783
I ported it with the latest syiah kernel and UCDL5 modem. Here is the download link:
*Have to wait to get permission from developer because it said no ports*
Be sure to also flash the Slim Common zip for the file, which you can download here:
http://www.slingfile.com/file/Bcrx88XvD4
Be sure to hit the thanks button if you like this ported rom!
Enjoy!

Not everyone knows how to hellraise roms, so I'm just trying to bring awesome i9100 roms to the i777 to let everyone enjoy them if one is new at it. These roms are in the ported section, which means I hellraised them from the i9100. So if you already know how, don't complain because I'm trying to bring the experience of i9100 roms to everyone!!

On another note, this rom is running very well. The only problem I ran into, and it may have just been me, was that I had to remove the nfc.apk or it would constantly fc.

I'd seriously would do a total wipe. There is a big security issue with the spen gestures. It wasn't supposed to be released. If that is your issue, just guessing.
It claims some third party apps can gain access to your camera.

I've had a similar issue. Think it involves having too much traffic linked with your Google account. Maybe from flashing new roms everyday like me. Happened to me when I used Google Now with ICS. Now I just use regular Google Search and it doesn't happen.

Thanks for the heads up, I've tried my other google account as my main account. I was still getting the same issue. This is a weird issue man.
I had that problem when i was using an ICS Rom with Google Now added to it (Padawan v3). Since switching to a JB Rom (AOCP CP 4.2), I haven't seen it come back up.
Not sure that's what caused it, but it definitely fixed it for me.

Quick question, have they fix the phone (while talking) rebooting issue? On the Know Roms

I think I found the issue. It's google chrome (signing in /syncin) via browser when i sign in, I get the error on my phone, when I sign out via browser. No error on my phone.

[ROOT/SOFF] Rootalot One Click S-OFF + ROOT

To further avoid myself, being accused of doing wrong in the essence of good, please SCAN THIS FILE. 2/34 Virus scanners on my end show what I THINK are false positives, personally I RAN THIS and see no ill side effects and monitor my network well. If you feel the least bit threatened or weary about using or downloading this, then please don't. The results don't look like it has been working anyway, I left it here for people to test/play with. Keep that in mind.
This has NOT been tested with the DNA yet, but it is supported, please read the documentation before use.
EDIT: Results don't seem to look good, for this app at all actually. I will leave it if anyone wants to try, but this is the second of a few warnings throughout this post. Don't test it on a phone you want. Although no damages have been reported.
I am not the creator of this one click, but I was told it could be shared freely, as it also describes in the .ZIP contents.
I did not personally try this out myself (My One X is already rooted + S-OFF) so be sure to check it out and read all the documents before trying out this new root exploit.

It did finally pick up my One X after about 10 mins (more like 2), but like I said I'm already rooted. It looks like it supplies a good amount of phones, and with the 3 different methods for rooting, especially the third, hopefully we will see some good results!
I'm not responsible for harm that comes from this file, I have ran and tested it out to SOME EXTENT. Please be aware of this, and like I said, READ THE DOCUMENTATION.
It states it can:
Root Android 2.x
Root Android 3.x
Root Android 4.x
Rooting Phones and Tablets
Supplies S-OFF as well (80% Chance)
So, like I said, try it out and let me know if it works!

That looks so sketchy.

Id rather do it manually than risk bricking my phone with a one click. Haha.

And I just looked at the app, there was no obvious traces of a virus within it, so id say its safe to run in that respect, whether it f's up your phone or not is another question
Haha cool story.

HTC DROID DNA 5
Like I said, I found it in IRC, talked to the dev a little, he used it personally with friends and made it bigger. It seems buggy to me...
Keep it up!
Didn't justincase and beups ask that no one make one of these for the s off?

If this was built from the ground up, without implementing any of their coding, there's nothing that they, or anyone else can do about it... That's kinda the point of open source.

With THEIR method? Yes.. This is using something completely different. They didn't want their files used in a one click script/program.
My antivirus doesn't like the .exe file....
tested on a few supposedly supported phones, doesnt work, it just shows Looking For... <name of model> and does nothing,
Moved to General as this is not the work of the OP. After reading some of the comments, I am tempted to remove the link and close the thread but I won't just yet.

That's good. The mods will know to keep it or remove it then.
80% chance of s-off? hmm.....

Sounds like a driver issue. Have you setup and tested adb on your phone first?

Blocking mode on Verizon s4

So i was messing around with an NFC tag and I programmed it to active the blocking mode, pretty much just to see what would happen. And to my surprise, it did indeed activate. Perhaps Verizon didn't delete it and maybe just made it inaccessible?

well, i programmed an NFC tag to activate it. The app is called "NFC Tag Launcher" (Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jwsoft.nfcactionlauncher&hl=en) and in there i created a task that would activate it. It was surprising that it worked, and kind of exciting.
EDIT: Would you like to see some screen shots? .. i think im being pretty vague with this exciting discovery
Is that the blocking mode for when you want to sleep and stuff so that the notifications dont go off?

Nice find, I need to test this when I get home. I would like some screenshots or at least how you set the profile up if its not too much trouble.
Several of the custom ROMs already have this built in, plus a whole lot more

Yes, but the ability to have a custom rom is a luxury some of us do not have thanks to the update that was pushed out

From what I've heard you can now use safestrap to install custom ROMs if you're on ME7. There are a lot of people using Hyperdrive that have taken the update. But it's cool that NFC will bring up blocking mode, if you don't want to go that route :good:

If I wish to access my company's assets from my personal phone, I must abide by my employers rules about that access. That includes not having root or using custom ROM's on Android devices.
This is enforced both by employment policy and systemic policy. This is very common with fortune 100 companies and government work.
Oh cool. I'll have to look at that.
Not everyone wants to install custom roms. Its nice to have a way to use something that should be easy access on the phone the qay samsung intended but for some reason verizon thinks we shouldn't. If it werent for the great service . . . .

Thank you! Good Find
Great info! Good job man, I can't wait to try it!
What setting in the app did you use to launch the program, I can't find blocking mode.
