How to change splash screen and boot animation of custom ROM? - Optimus One, P500, V General

Can anyone teach how to change splash screen and boot animation of gigersnap 1.5?

Use "SEARCH" button before making a thread.
Go to P500 theme section.. you will find everything!!
And do not create useless threads from next time!!!

u can use boot animation changer app from google play or u can do it manually by downloading boot animation.zip which one u like and place it in system/media using any file manager like root browser etc just replace it with stock one

how will i remove splash screen ?
i want my phone to directly jump in bootanimation on reboot. coz this custom rom splash screen is wasting 30 secs on evry restart.

ur gingersnap is the best custom ROM i hv evr used . see i din ll to disgrace u .what i meant was that the green splash screen is taking more than 30 sec on start up. thats y i want to remove it. i din say it "as wasted ". pls dont misunderstand .u r the one who made it , if u hv a solution for it .let me knw .. will be following u .. i thot "custom" means for evryone !
i thot u wud be appreciate "customization ". i dint mean any disgrace. i thot i wud change the splash screen and keep something else that wanted which gives me satisfaction luking at screen evrytime i restart or make me remember something abt my own life ...u knw wat i mean . since phone means something important in our lives..... i gave it a serious thot . so its upto u to talk allowing the splash screen custamization. Dnt feel like that will degrade ur gingersnap. GS alwys the best for people who understands.

So what neko is telling you is correct. The splash screen does not take time. It sits there while your phone is booting. If you remove 1st splash, phone will still have to boot. It won't be any faster.
If you want to look at something different then compile a new one in. But, your phone won't start any faster with or without it.

It'll probably be easier if we just answered the question instead of wasting time with this pointless argument. To that effect, here's the "short" answer:
When your phone boots up, in addition to turning on all the hardware, etc., it's also starting up all the scripts and programs that make up your phone's system. A splash screen is there simply to give you something to look at while all of that is going on in the background.
Now, you can change the splash screen or boot animation all you want, but it'll still take the same amount of time to boot as it did with the original. You can even remove the splash screen or boot animation entirely, but it'll still take the same amount of time to boot up -- you'll just be staring at a completely blank screen.

I was a noob to android like him b4 BUT i never become or be a pain on other people how to do this how to do that whats this whats that, remove this remove that .I LEARNED FROM MY SELF never posted how to that theads.
