Hi Guys,
Need help from any of you. I had done a mistake 2 days ago by installing XGS Serie's ROM in my DHD. After installing the ROM from recovery the phone is'nt booting and just animated X. This is only the 3rd time I installed a custom ROM hence I haven't got any solution.Could any one please help me to recover my phone at least to make it to factory reset.
Go into HBoot, then into fastboot.
Connect your DHD to your PC via USB.
Wait for the PC to recognize it.
Download this RUU: http://www.filefactory.com/file/cf9...60.29_26.14.04.28_M_release_225512_signed.exe
Run it as administrator and follow instructions.
Your phone will go back to stock ROM

Dear XDA Developers,
I have an HTC Flyer 3G 32 GB device upgraded to the latest HTC HC version.
We didnt like it and wanted to explore the opportunity to rooting and flashing a custom rom.
I have done the following:
1- Unlocked the bootloader from the HTCDev.com website.
2- Flashed CWM to the device (suprisinglly still S ON).
3- Downloaded Leedroid HC V4.3.0 and flashed it to the device using recovery (still S ON).
4- worked very well. Now I thought of trying out different roms to see what suites me.
5- Downloaded Flyhigh Rom and got to recovery, wiped cache and the partition.
6- Flashed the Flyhigh rom which stated "Installation Aborted".
Now the device does not load anything, it starts with HTC logo in the beginning then it disappears and goes to a black screen.
I need some help to know what to do now, I have tried to fastboot the recovery file again, doesn't work, formatted the SD card using an SD card reader, doesn't work. tried to install from RUU but it says unable to connect with the device.
I really dont know what to do. this Flyer is my wife's daily driver and I need to fix it.
Please help.
Faisal
Wrong section, but ok. Flyhigh is a gingerbread rom, GB and HC use different bootloaders, just flash a honeycomb rom and it should work, if you want to go back to gingerbread, you have to change the bootloader, theres a guide on this forum.
Have to fastboot flash boot.IMG as well because you are not s off

Hello guys,
as a last resort I turn to you for help. Have been searching for the answer for the last 2 days. I am running CWM-based Recovery v.6.0.1.1 and have a rooted x10 together with an unlocked bootloader. I flashed the recovery without any problems and installed miui v4 but an older file which was very unstable (without any problems). Then I decided to install the newer version so i downloaded it, placed it on my sdcard and in the same recovery flashed rom. Unfortunately I had my usb cable plugged in all the time (during installation). Installation got stuck in the middle and nothing could be done so i removed the battery and started the phone again (this time without the usb cable). When I tried to reinstall that rom again it gave me status 7 error installation aborted, assert failed:getprop, error in sdcard and things like that. So I tried the ROM which had already worked on my phone but received exactly the same message. What is more usb storage mounting in the recovery doesnt work anymore (but it already worked!). Now the problem is that I don't have any system installed and when i try to flash the recovery again, flashtool does not recognize my phone (so does windows) and so it leads me nowhere. I think this is definitely problem with the recovery, after the failed attempt to install rom when i had to remove the battery it does not behave normally. Is there any way that I can maybe install another recovery from .zip - i do not even know whether it will install or just sends me another error. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When I want to flash .tft file and i go to flash mode it does not recognize my phone in windows even though I have installed all the necessary drivers. It starts to flash but then says flashing aborted (this did not happen before, i could flash without any problems). Another problem is that i do not have any rom installed right now so i cannot even switch debugging on and if i remember right, i left debugging off in my previous rom.
Use Sony Update Service. Download from Sony site and install on PC. Follow the instruction, and this will reflash Stock Rom and Kernel (GB 2.3.3). Then, with latest Flashtool, first Root phone again, then flash whatever you want (custom kernels, roms..). You don't need to unlock bootloader again. It remains unlocked.

Omg - I found solution to my problem - I just changed usb port and it started to flash even using flashtool. Still, many thanks since it helped me find solution
I was trying to install the CM 10.1 cm_enrc2b-ota-eng.Lloir.zip on my HTC One X+. The device was already rooted and had the recovery TWRPNA.img Team Win Recovery Project. I copied the ROM to my HTC, reset factory settings and wiped the cache from recovery, but when I try to install always it says failed. I then realized I had to flash the kernel to boot-BLADE-42-201212251736.img, I did using fastboot. Then I tried to install the ROM once again and same error occurred and couldn't install it. After trying and trying I gave up and I tried to reboot the phone and it was stuck on the HTC One X logo. I tried to flash the TWRPNA.img back with no luck, since I never installed a new ROM. And the device was stuck. Now Im trying to install the RUU, I already relocked the phone, but when I run the RUU it gives me an error and it won't star.
HELP!!!!
I really wanted to install the CM 10.1 ROM, what do you guys recommend?
because you were trying to install the INTERNATIONAL build of CM -.- go whack a sense rom on for now dude if you want to keep it rooted, and no i won't suggest a rom to use..
Hi Community,
I have a massive problem and I hope you can help me.
I rooted my HTC One X successfully and tried to flash custom roms on it which kind of worked. I put the zip folder on the internat sd card and flashed it without flashing the boot.img.
Finnaly I found out to do that, flashed the boot.img but while installing the ROM the problem code/status 7 appeared and I had to restart the phone in order to put the right rom onto the phone, which i had on my computer.
But while booting, the phone just got stuck in bootloop showing the HTC logo.
I already tried quite a lot of stuff to rescue my phone, for example to restore the nandroid backup - didnt work, flash another backup onto phone - still bootloop, flashed a new rom with boot.img - still bootloop.
The only solution i could find was to unroot the device and flash the stock rom onto it.
Is that really my last resort or is there another way?
Thanks for your help.
I just saw that I posted it in the wrong forum. If a admin could please replace it, i tried to delete it but it didn't work.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hello Everyone,
I know that this is an old phone but could you please help me to install a stock rom or one that will work.
The problem
The phone is stuck in a boot-loop the person who asked me to look at it said that have been happening since the phone fell very hard.
What I did
I managed to get the HTC dev unlocked and flash cwm recovery (the latest version). At present the phone can only boot in recovery and the bootloader.
What I would like to do next
I would like to flash a rom anyone that can work with the current firmware, I think I will be able to update it from there.
So please any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
The real problem here is that the latest firmware does not have a RUU (the HTC firmware restoration file)... CWM is not really recommended anymore, you should change to the latest TWRP, then I would recommend flashing the ROM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2260154
It is as close to stock as you can get in a non-bootable state. Remember that when you flash a rom on this device well it is S-ON, you must manually flash the boot image with fastboot.
