Let me start to say that I am in your eyes a noob
I have rooted my samsung i8910hd and my own htc desire hd before without ant problems, i am good in following guides and solving specific problems while doing that
Now, my father bought a chinese 'raider x710e', and while it has a crappy rom, he asked me to fix it. I searched around here yesterday evening, but i have to say that i have no idea where to start. just following the guide for the raider (vivid) does not work sadly, but expected.
so please, could someone help me on my way?

Hello, I am a newby in Android, I got my new HTC Sensation with Android some days ago and I would like to change several things on it, but before doing it and to be safe safe I would like to do a backup of the phone as I got it (well, let say after the first answers to the first questions it asks you when powered on first time), as I did with my old (and broken ) HTC P3600 with WM.
I have been searching forums (including this one) and I find tools and tutorials for doing it in Windows Mobile or for Applications, but I didn't find it (or I was not able to find it) for the full smartphone, including the ROM Android-based.
Where could I find a guide, tutorial, how-to, tool for doing it?

Hello guys! I hope I'm posting in the right section of the forum.
Here I go: I am a new and kinda prown owner of a HTC Sensation. After I debranded it, I'd like to instal a software package containing Romanian Language.
Because I'm a newbie when it comes about Android (using since 201 Nokia), I got stuck in some, childish (maybe) questions.
So, What STOCK Rom do I have to install after installing 'RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.45.401.2_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_release_208857_signed' in order to be able to have Romanian menu.
The second q: Do I need to S-OFF my phone everytime I installl a stock ROM?
And the last one: there SO versions are newer, the bigger their nomber is (RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.45.401.2 is newer than say...RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.45.401.1?

you can flash any rom that have romanian menu..
2. You need to reboot after flashing roms

Well, that's easier to say than do (4 me). Which ROM do u reccommend that contains Romanian language, or how can I see if it does or not?

LE: So, all I have to do is to download the sowtfare version containing romanian language (that u will hopefully provide) and install it. No need 4 s-off-ing (whatever that means) again?

Hello everyone, I'm a new guys and i really need your help. Any help will be nice. I have some questions that I cant find the answer anywhere.

First is, as I looked at the CPU of those phone (which on the internet advertising), they have 2 core: MT6573 ARM11 650MHz + MT6162 ARM9 350MHz. I found that my device only have one chip MT6573, so what is the MT6212. I'm not sure that my device only run with 1 core and no other core stored inside my device, so whats is this MT6212? Or because up till now my OS only is 2.3.6 (cant find any ROM 4.0 ICS released for my phone) so it cant see the second core and only recognize the one which have faster speed????
Second is, after you guys helped me out by answer 2 questions above, can you help me to find out the latest ROM for this device. I already install a ROM, which developed by my country retailer, but it seems they stopped working to release the final version. Now my ROM is running with Android 2.3.6, can it upgrade to ICS 4.0, and is there any 4.0 ROM released for my device yet?

Hi everybody! hoping everything will be allright.
Yesterday i bought htc Sapphire Also known as HTC magic 3g (Not slide).
It have android 1.5 version.
Now i want to upgrade its version to latest available for it.
Please experts tell me what is the best latest available version for it (I am thinking that it would run Jelly Bean 4.1 if so, its great).
And please also refer me a very noob tutorial step by step how to update it because i have never bought android phone so thats why i dont know much as you all know.

Hi all. First of all i would just like to say that i very much appreciate all you guys do here, helping us noobs flash, upgrade and unbrick our phones
I have a rebranded inew V7 phone called NOA H4 in my country. I'm pleased with the phone. It's nicely built, robust, has plenty of storage, dual sim, ... One thing i miss is the led notification. But i can live with that.
Recently i got fed up with it's software, Android 4.4.2 and i started to look how i can change it. I found some guides and tried but no luck. I was only lucky not to brick my phone
I have some questions:
1. Is it at all possible to flash this phone so it has Android 5 (or 6)??
2. Are the Android 5 roms i found on the web real Android 5 or a modified Android 4?
3. If 1. and 2. are yes, will this http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-how-to-port-lollipop-based-roms-t3223938 help me to do this by myself??
