I was rooted and install GinTonic v2.5.1 on my xperia x10 mini pro. It was working, but I had install new kernel. When I try unlock bootloader and plugged phone to USB it was reboot to flashmode but it can't wake. It's dead. I can't see logo SE or enter to recovery (CWM).
It is bricked? Can I unbrick this?

if you cant connect your device into flashmode.
so i guess it's broken and you need (jtag) or (gtag) doing whit riff box.

I install by error a ROM for X8 (E15i) on X10 mini pro (u20i) and don´t me let restore my back up from xrecovery, no work touch screen on principal screen where say "Touch the Android", need help please. Sorry by me english.
You could try a fresh install from seus, then install xrecovery and then restore your backup.

when i conect x10 mini pro on pc to update from seus appear a screen on pc to slide down status bar and select usb to recognize the phone but the touch screen dont work or what is fresh install, thanks
turn off your phone (pull battery out) run SEUS and start for flashing stock rom then conect phone to pc and when you are conecting it hold back button.green led light will turn on and folow instruction in SEUS

I have both android phone. When I find my pro is not stable with CM7. I wrongly copied the x10 mini backup file on my pro and restored it by xRecovery.
The phone can open. But the touch screen forzen. The buttons are also out of control.
I try to flash it. Cannot...
I try SEUS, repair function in PC companion also. Not work...

I've tried your suggestion. But seems cannot work.
My mini pro can turn on. Also SEUS knows it is a SE phone. (ie. the phone is detectable but cannot be recognised) The phone had checked USB debugging. As the screen was frozen, I cannot connect it with PC companion.
I tried to install the system via phone repair function in PC companion. I selected X10 mini pro rom. But still cannot work.
Try Flash Tool, still cannot work.
"ERROR-Error flashing,
Aborted"
was shown.
Any suggestion?
Is it possible to install xRecovery under this circumstance?
Have you installed gordons gate flash driver on your pc? and what flash tool are you using?

HEY! Do you happen to know if there's a confirmed working flashtool for the 2.1 update and x10 mini (not pro)?
My phone doesn't even show the boot animation, it just has the sony ericsson logo, it doesn't stay off and when restoring I get the message Error flashing. Aborted.
First, the phone stays in the flashing mode only when I keep the back button pressed, but after a failed flashing attempt it stays in the mode (without pressing the back key and with the green led on) and when I try flashing again, it fails after a while.
I got to this situation by installing a custom rom on the phone and after that the cwm said that recovery seems to be broken, it tried to restore and after that it didn't turn on anymore.
What would this be about? And what can I do to recover my X10 mini?

I'm trying to help my brother unbrick his X10 mini pro. I've been trying to use Flashtool, but (1) it says USB debugging is off and (2) the phone won't get into recovery mode. What should I do?

my Sony Ericsson xperia x10 mini pro stuck on sonyericsson text after unsuccessful installation of Clock work Mode recovery from xrecovery. I can't go to recovery any more since I was in the middle of recovery installation. from xrecovery to CWM.
I've tried PC companion but it didn't detect my phone,
Flash tools says the phone is connected with USB debugging off,
I don't know what else I should do, by the way my phone was rooted with super one click, busy box and xrecovery installed.

I have install 1 year ago MiniCm7 with naa-14 kernel, now i will change system but when i press Vol+ and insert usb cable (for fastboot) don't work, it start with system normaly or go in recovery mode, tried with Flashmode last version and Flashmod 0.5.3 with all drivers into folder "driver"
How i can fix it? T_T

Yes . if flashmode is ok then revert back to stock and install cwm again.
see if it works

Now is 2.1 stock firmware with kernel stock but don't work.
I have try to install cwm but don't work, the file is ready and 777 in /system/bin but don't work.

Hmmm....are you sure you are not in the wrong devices thread???? are you really sure that your phone is Xperia Mini Pro not X10 Mini Pro???
i'm confused cause Xperia Mini pro doesn't come with v2.1 stock firmware....Stock firmware for Xperia Mini Pro is v2.3.4 (GB)...v2.1 (Froyo) is for X10 Mini Pro...
you also said you have flash MiniCM7 with nAa kernel...that mean you have unlock your phone bootloader....if the bootloader is unlock there is no way you can repair it using SEUS...only Flashtool can be use to repair/flash Stock Roms....
