I approve:
Bravia engine working great
Phone is butter smooth (More and more than the S3)
Battery life is amazing
Camera lauch and camera capture is very fast
Album app lauch is faster also the setting.apk
More free ram about +40MB
Touch buttons are so sensitive(like my xperia active eventhough I have 2 screen protectors)
No a little lag after 10hrs of flash till now
Thx a lot Sony this a really awesome stable update now am concering about porting some stuff from the GX

It's not working; it works on the videos but not on the photos (same as the first ICS update)

For me was always great at least it's Sony
Dear Hassan turn it off and go to the album then on and also go to the album..am sure if u focus on the pics quality you will see a difference

There is a bug with Mobile Bravia Engine. I compared 4.0.4's Mobile Bravia Engine with 2.3.7's. Just look at them at the same time, then you know 4.0.4 doesn't have Mobile Bravia Engine.....
Maybe it works for some people, but it doesn't work for me.

Mobile Bravia Engine is working great in my phone in photos and videos

After one day of using it, I can say that the phone is smoother. Don't see anything visible other than new wisepilot. Feels like they used the arakmar's Advanced Stock Kernel 14 in stock firmware. Fast capture button is now fast. Cannot comment yet on battery life.
edit: Am I dreaming or does the volume wake up now works in stock rom? Anybody else can please test, just want to know if it is not because of a previous kernel. I updated through FTF flash, wiped everything.

Use Arakmar's Advanced Stock ICS Kernel Build 14.
For me ,the Bravia Engine works great!

when will sony toke back the MSC - mode ?????????????????????? maybe this lack of feature makes me mad.
this phone cannot be connected via usb
-in virtualbox - mtp mode, (mtp cannot installs in VB)
-in any Linux distro - it was mounting the sdcard partition in nautilus, with xperia ARC but with XPS, cannot.
