Hi guys... I have HTC Mozart [ROM] HTC 7 Mozart , WP7.5 Build 8779.8 VDG... So i heard that it will be a 7.8 update for windows phone 7-7.5. I want to make a backup of my apps in case anything goes wrong when i update, but i don know how to extract my app in .xap form, or it is possible to extract apps from my phone.

If you realy have a HTC Hero you have posted in the wrong section.
HTC Hero (G2) is an Android phone.
I don`t know if there is possibel to load an Windows Mobile image on it.

It is possible. As I say it is a China Clone Dial Sim phone. So this is a not a real HTC Hero so I not post in Hero's section. It is with Windows Mobile 6.5 OS

If you connect to pc and open the windows sync program, doesn't it automaticly notice, if an update is available?
Or do you want to update to Android?

What do you mean? is it stock ROM or custom ROM?
If stock ROM, for non-branded HD2, you can go to HTC website (www.htc.com) and download from there. For a branded HD2, you can go to your carrier's website and download from there. You have to prepare your phone serial number or IMEI (for TMOUS)
For custom ROM, all custom winmo ROM here, I believe, is the latest version.

No, it doesnt. You have to manually update your ROM, there is no such over the air (OTA) update in Winmo's world (unlike android)

I need help downgrading my Htc Mozart from 7392 back to 7004. anyone can help? i am using a Malaysia set, i think is Asia SEA region firmware.
You need to find the original 7004 ROM first, then just simply flash it.
If you are downgrading as you want to get a chevron unlocked Mango you can use Ansars custom NoDo ROM or the DFT Mango ROM

Followed the instructions and it didn't do anything....gave a "Error, no update files". Any suggestions

Just be sure you have all the updates between those builds and don't forget 8862 as well.
I followed the instructions exactly and it all installed perfectly and had no problems.. But in the About Phone. Still says version 7.5?
Hi, was wondering if it is possible to get windows 10 mobile to run on an HTC Titan x310e? Is the phone hackable for this, or is the core yet another impossible kernel?
