I'm not a modder so I wouldn't know where to start,. After I updated my tab to ICS I noticed Sammy reskinned the calendar with a terribly outdated faux skin theme (apple style), it seems like this os the only app with such an ugly thing going on.
Is it possible to skin it with something more in theme with the rest of the ICS touchwiz style?

HoneyComb 3D is great, try it out. You can find it in the market too.
Kinda boring, but I like the TouchWiz and Arc ones from the link I posted.
The TW one is nice because it brings back some familiar goodness I have not seen in a long time (custom roms/themes) and has a lot of color I like, inc. the Settings menu icons are pretty snazzy

IMO any one of the themes by Sonny Sekhon are awesome, he is the original creator of themes we have such as frost, sublime and tangerine. Currently i am running his onyx theme which is very minimalist but a very nice overall theme.
For the stock TW4 theme lovers, here. Pure sexiness.

I really like the look of the widget and there is nothing like it in the market.

Nope, the manufacturer UI (sense, touchwiz, blur) is closed source so it will only work on the manufacturers ROM, or a ROM based on the manufacturers ROM.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the ICS Launcher (by Syndicate Apps) and the ICS theme (by Sonny Sekhon). Are they both the same thing aesthetically or is one more accurate? I've never seen ICS so I don't know how to tell?
the ics launcher you mention is a port of the launcher for use on gb and lower has the looks and almost acts like stock ics (but buggy ), a theme changes the appearance of the launcher eg adw launcher , changes the looks of the apps , but does not act like the launcher eg widget in drawer etc ...
the launcher you mention and the theme are two different items , themes are more for getting the appearance opposed to the functionality of ics launcher , the launcher is almost fully like ics ,so maybe ure better of flashing a ics rom oppsed to using the launcher or theme the two are pretty mediocre opposed to the real thing in my opinion , i have a ics rom on my phone runs ok ...
Ok. Thanks. It's good advice to get a ROM but unfortunately none of them for my phone have a working camera and that's crucial to me. I'll stick with the launcher.
Dear Friends, i'm absolutely love JB genuine theme like the one on CM10 but this rom lacks the features I need from samsung-base ROMs, like S-Beam, voice input and other cool widgets. Samsung Theme for me is ugly and I really detest it. Any ideas will be welcome. To be clear, I mean the theme that will totally replace all custom theme of Samsung, like JB contacts, settings, messaging etc.
i came from GS3 and i loved my UltimaRom back then. even if it's just a theme i'd like to have it on my Note2, too. i really missed the AOKP style on a TW based rom. also the blue/black contrast the theme had. i'm new to this modding and stuff and i don't have ideas on porting and such. So hipefully, even if not the rom itself, i'd like to have the simple and dark theme from ultimarom. Thanks!
