I just picked this phone up yesterday and I am noticing when I go from my key dialler to my contacts there is sometimes up to a 4 sec delay. Is there anything I can do to fix this? An alternative app I can use? I only have 100 contacts as well

Since the last update, my gmail app force closes constantly. I open it, try to tick some items to delete them and as soon as I touch the screen, it freezes. Then force closes. I've tried deleting the cache and data through the settings menu, but no improvement. Anyone else getting this?

Yea I've been having this happen to me to. I open the app and it just freezes, then when I try to do anything it just closes. I've done what you've done as well and it hasn't helped any.
I always delete the stock messaging app and browser (among other apps), i use dolphin and gosms but I think deleting the stock message app is keeping me from receiving pictures.. Can someone please upload the apk for me

Well I got it back working... In gosms there is a button to click to autoenable mms, and i clicked that and there was also an option to set if i deleted the stock browser. Please after clicking both of ose I can now received pics just fine

Is there anyway to get MMS/ Pics / msgs from iphones with cell data packets disabled and on wifi?
I have this problem all the time since on wifi alot with juice defender ultimate controlling it automatically.

Not nativly no. SMS/MMS does not work over wifi, regardless of the source phones type...( iMessage will do this yes, but iMessage is not using SMS/MMS even though they do it from the same app. it's handleted totally diffrent, and it's only iphone to iphone, there is no option to get an imessage on an android, it's apple gear only).
I froze the legacy sms app with BT.
Then loaded gosms. No pictures would pass thru. Even after making adjustments in advanced.

Any phone speed, ram, or other benefit obtained from this?
I normally just leave it alone, and disable notifications.
You can even hide the app in the app drawer if you're using Go Launcher, other launchers may have this ability as well.
I've been dealing with the fc for a while now, constantly clearing data on log provider in order to call someone...is there a normal fix to this (running hybrid)

Also running Hybrid RC IV. None of the fixes worked for long (for me, but I'm also using a 3rd party Exchange app, Touchdown, and moving Exchange contacts to the phone, so it could be on me). I moved to EX Contacts (I think it's called... Definitely has EX in the name) and had no further issues.
Recently moved to DW Dialer for greater search granularity and more info displayed in the call log.

I am on viper rom. I have floating notifications installed, and in order to enable floating notifications it has to be enabled in accessibility. I have talk back disabled, but for some reason my still wants to talk back screen selections. any ideas as to why?

Oh nooooo!!! I enabled that the other day, and it took me 30 minutes to turn it off, as having it on will not allow u to scroll down. Go back into it and make sure it's off. Also, under your app settings, force close Google TTS.

I forced closed Google text to speech, and I even forced stopped talk back. Talkback is off in the accessibility settings. Now what I've been doing to see if my phone has stopped speaking, I have been opening up instagram, and every time I open instagram my phone says "instagram news". It also does the same whenever I open the browser. Any other ideas?

Today I just got an error on the keyboard. It changed the color by itself from the dark gray to white but the numbers 123 stays gray.
Does anyone encountered this problem too in the past?
By the way after a few minutes trying to fix it and resting the keyboard settings I jus lock my phone and when I was going to use it a few minutes later, the keyboard came back to normal. So I guess it's a bug on the system. Does anyone have any information on this error?

Maybe too many apps were open and you ran low on resources. Locking and unlocking forced it to redraw the screen and had time to clear some memory. Just a theory anyway.
