Hello guys, Hope someone can help me!
After experimenting with making a bootable usb on my android to use to install windows on a computer, It all went wrong. Now my internal storage is gone and it can't mount it back. Camera does not work, either does Rom Manager, bot is saying that I have to mount a sd card to get it to work.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S II
ROM = CyanogenMod version 9.0.0-galaxys2
ClockWorkMod Recovery 5.8.1.5
If I go to settings -> Storage I can see the following listed:
INTERNAL STORAGE
Total Space 1.97GB (Apps 349mb, Available 1,60GB)
INTERNAL STORAGE
<Mount SD card> <- when pressing this I can for a short time see apps, pictures etc but it goes back)
INTERNAL STORAGE
SD CARD
Total space 25,99GB
Available 25,99GB
USB STORAGE

You have yourself to blame here bro.
I think this may be final solution if your phone is still under warranty.
-Restore the phone to stock if possible,
-Remove Yellow Triangle (if present)
-Reset binary counter
-Send it to Samsung Service center for repairs
good luck

Hello, I'd be grateful for some assistance. This morning my s3 was in my pocket and felt really warm. I pulled it out and it was stuck on the boot logo. I'm assuming it had been on that for a while which is why it heated up.
Now, the phone doesn't boot up. I can get into download mode but not recovery.
I did have the Siyah Kernel installed as well as a JB rom.
I have downloaded the latest firmware image for my region UK - (I9300XXEMB5_I9300OXAEMB5_BTU) and tried installing but have had no luck. Below is the message I get. Please help.

Have you tried with another usb port and are you using stock samsung usb cable?
Your partition structure of the internal storage card is corrupt, the phone is soft bricked. You can usually format and recover if you have backups, particularly of the efs folder.
If you don't then there are a few solutions here on the forum you can try, otherwise it's a Samsung repair.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I don't have a backup. Would you please point me in the right direction? I'm not sure what I need to do?? where would I get the recovery??(Is that the bootloader?Kernel?Rom?)
Search and read here in Q&A, without a backup of your efs it is less likely to succeed. Otherwise return to Samsung for repair.

From what I can make out I need to reformat the internal storage. To do this I need the correct pit file. I can't find it on samfirmware.com.

boot into the recovery you installed and wipe cache/dalvik

Do you have a Canadian version of the note? If so you have to disconnect the phone from the pc as soon as Odin shows PASS, pull the battery from the phone, put the battery back in the phone and enter recovery with the vol + and - and the power button.
Hi there,
it's matteios1984 first of all i'd like to say hello to the comunity and thank you all for interesting post about Android!
I'm here to asking help about a tricky case. I've a Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300) bricked. In other words the phone behaves as follow:
- If i try to turn on the device it remains stuck on Samsung S3 logo
- No possible to boot in recovery mode
- When I connect it to the charger it's stucked showing the battery image and not showing any progress about charging status
- The device is still able to boot in download mode both with buttons combo and with resistor trick, but Odin is not able to flash anything on the device (my idea is to flash a Customer Recovery, perform a full wipe of the device and after restore original italian firmware)
Here following a log taken from Odin:

I've heard about the possibility to boot the device by a MicroSD card that allows me to flash the device... Do you think this will fix my issue? Or do I need a box? If so, any suggestion about the model is appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your support
Try downgrading the bootloader to BLFB before flashing firmware or pit.

Summary
1. Checked if USB Debugging on
2. Preceded to use CF Auto Root to root
3. Downloaded: system apps remover, root checker, root browser, and greenify in the play store.
Problem
I used system app remover to take out some sprint bloat-ware and apps, but doing so caused the device to kick into a soft brick. I might have deleted some core system files, not sure.
Solutions Attempted
1. Using the usual tricks, I tried to use Odin to flash stock firmware, however, I get the error message above and restart.
2. KIES and Samsung Smart Switch, don't connect to this phone.
3. Devices in recovery modes say ADB & SD Card apply update are disabled.
Can anyone help me out? Links to guides, of similar nature are helpful! Also, can someone help me find a good site to download the .tar.mdf files? For the Note 4 firmware; Sammobile is very slow.
I have a similar problem
Please how did you know the right firmware to download. Mine is on bootloop and I don't know the right firmware to download for ODIN. Smart Switch and Kies are not working for me too.
