So I need a stable rom cuz this is my only phone and I use it for work. I just started flashing roms. So far I've only tried Th3Bill's CNA, 2.3.5 Hybrid, and CM7. I liked all of them, but I ended up going back to Homebase for its stability and battery life. I really like CM7 for its simplicity and pure Google. What is the best stable CM7 rom and where can I find it? Links? Love to hear your opinions in other roms too. I love the support we're getting now on this phone. Thanks devs!

U can do a search, but most locked roms will say locked in the title. Mof2.3.5ish is one. I've seen a list around here somewhere, so it's here. Or u can try this: http://lmgtfy.com/

I am planning to flash one of the three roms here (cm7, rarity, and exynos), but I want to know more in detail about those roms.
I am open to be persuaded. Please inform me

I just flashed Exynos Extreme rom last night. So far, it's been quite fast and decent. It sticks with the default touchwiz launcher so if you're not a fan of it, you can change it but so far I'm having no problems with it. But this is the first rom I flashed so I'm not really an expert on the other roms. I wanted to try CM7 but there's only a release candidate, so far no stable release as of yet.

Hi..Its maybe a repost but I'm starting this thread because lots of things changed into these ROMs since the old post.
So which ROM would you reccomend for everyday use?
I personally like CM a lot. But as its not stable yet I can't reccomend it yet.
Other than I like Aura & The Darkside ROM. Which one will you prefer actually?

CM7 and darkside. But, SamCripp is coming out with an update to his ninja Rom in the coming days...... hopefully. He said that in a post in his thread about it coming out. I personally am trying that again when it comes out.

No one rom is best for everyone, we all have different likes. There are many ics roms available. They are not perfect, but they are definitely good enough for daily use though. Imperium rom is very nice and good theme. For me, my favorite is 2.3.5 hybrid cm7/beblur. Very fast smooth and everything works. Very minimalist so you can add the apps that you like. Peetr did a great job with this. It also depends if you are unlocked or not. Rocko and Imperium have some locked versions. There are some older sudo roms for locked, you just have to search a little, can't remember them just now. And there is a deblur script for locked phones from loki. Try them all, great development work going on here! But fastest and most stable for me = 2.3.5 hybrid cm7 /beblur

My vote would have to be cybiks cm7 if you're goin for a good mix of speed, stability, and customization. But like Bricky said, it depends on you're needs.

OK, yes I understand it's all about trying them out. I'm just a little short on time so I was hopin for exactly this. One question though, the phone is rooted and unlocked, got clockwork 5.0?? Don't remember exactly but its the newest one. v3 I think? anyway, So if I were to try the hybrid 2.3.5 would it be rooted and all that? I thought I read somewhere that those roms wherent rooted?

Yes pre rooted. Make sure you choose the hybrid. When it comes to 2.3.5 you have to be careful what you install.

Hello everyone !
im looking for rom, which is stable and heve good battery life.
Do u know rom that will be good for me ?
Thanks ! :good:
With absolutely no information to go on, I'm going to say try them all and see which works for you.
Edit: or stick to the one that came with your phone. It's stable as it gets and has good battery life.

any ics rom will not work for you, gb ones are more stable plus haves greater battery life, try out neutrino, topsmarts or mrom, imho neutrino is the best non blur rom it was my daily driver, before i gave my atrix to my wife

Try Nottratrix ROM, it's a GB custom ROM with optimizations and tweaks.
This thread is completely unnecessary, there are many others just like this one. Plus, you asked a question here and opened ANOTHER thread asking the same question? That's against XDA rules.
Both threads reported. You should really cool down on opening new threads.
Thread closed. Best/most stable ROM threads have no place as they're completely subjective and based purely on opinion. What's best for someone else is not guaranteed to be best for you as your needs will likely be different. Try them for yourself as then you'll learn at the same time as finding the best for you.
Thanks

I am looking for a like stock rom with google now if it exists, does anyone have any suggestions?
Pretty much all of the cm10 based roms have it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Welcome to XDA. I suggest you try several ROMs and then decide on what you want to keep. (Asking for ROM recomendations is really not a good idea. It's like asking which lady is the best at Miss World.)
Padawan has all I need, even Google now. Only downside for some and not me is, it doesn't have NFC
Best Stockish Rom IMHO
Or you can do what I did. Downloaded cm9 Stable, flash google now for ics and other stuff I put in my self.
It's like running JB but with no Reboots. GL
As stated, just try the ROMs out and you determine what is best for you, Thanks and here some help for you:
