bootloader is always original . samsung just updated the bootloader few weeks back, if you flash those roms with updated bootloader your bootloader gets updated automatically.

Sorry, for "original" i meant the kh3 bootloader... So even with custom roms I flash the new bootloder... I made this question because, if i remember well, i read that cooked roms don't flash bootloader...

yes, custom roms, doesn't install or update your bootloader, so if you're updating to ICS, you need an ICS bootloader.

Not on ics now but I'm pretty sure I've used it with the old bootloader. Don't think the ics bootloader is really required. I may be wrong.

Thanks to all, however, if you want to upgrade to a custom ics rom from a gb custom rom, you don't need to flash a bootloader... I flashed tons of ocs custom rom over gb custom rom with no problems...

Download Odin (can be found in this forum)
Download your stock firmware 2.3.6 (I dont know about the CHN_CHN Version)
Put your phone into Download Mode. (Power Off, Hold volume down+home+power button)
Run Odin
Choose PDA file which is your stock firmware.
Flash

Use search.. You will find lots of topics,, Anyways, following link will guide you :

IMPORTANT : While choosing model from the dropdown on Checkfusdownloader, choose "GT-I9100G"... Do not choose "GT-I9100".
相信你是个中国人,要不然应该不能买到中国版的9100G。
用Odin刷5文件包吧…………

I tried this before when I first flashed to CM9, I get bootloops. Since then, I forever stick to ICS and never trying to convert back to GB although I wish to do so. I dare not and i'm lazy to deal with the bootloops.. I not sure why I get bootloops btw, some other ppl faced that as well. So I hope this brother able to convert back to GB successfully. Good luck.
To convert back to GB you have to flash an old GB bootloader for some reason after flashing the stock ROM. After that do a full wipe, everything else ended up in a bootloop for me.
Fingers crossed .

I can flash GB stock GDZKL3 after flashing this bootloader right? bootloader should flash before flashing rom, or after flashing the rom? Thanks.
I tried both options. Try flashing the bootloader at first but don't forget to uncheck "Auto-Reboot" in odin. After that you should be able to flash the stock GB ROM. Do you have a jig just in case of any problems? I remember I used my jig, but don't really know why.

bootloader unlocking and rooting has nothing to do with flashing through PCC. just connect and if it says update do it...... u will only get problem if u flashed a custom rom.... if u flash custom u wont get update via PCC.... wait for a .tft file of ics...... i bet some one will eventually post it( and hopefullyearlier than the default PCC of ur region ).... then just flash it via flash tool..... if u find a .tft of ics sola the follow only the first step of this link

if i helped please click thanx.............
With an unlocked bootloader you cant update via pcc. You can either relock your phones bootloader and flash a stock rom or wait for someone to upload a ftf and flash it via flashtool

Atrix with bootloader lock

I have an atrix with root (Android 2.3.4 GB)
I wanted to know if I can put the stock rom based?
Without bootloader unlocked and without recowery mod, is it possible?
Why? If you have locked bootloader and no custom recovery, you should have the stock ROM already. All you need to do is unroot and you'll be completely stock.

I would flash an CUSTOM ROM based on STOCK ROM
In that case, no. There is nothing you can flash with a locked bootloader except a SBF which can be risky.
