I think there is no difference. You can flash only new kernel while installing ICS.

Yes, so you can use cwm anytime CWM with back key, and now this kernel have more features than original stock rom and the custom rom.

do i need to remove this stockics0.2.img kernel after flashing because it is an Insecure boot.img

princesupernoah kernel v0.2 is an insecure image because i need to run adb with superuser privileges, but it`s not bad so i can use for many things. However you can download v.0.1, that it´s clean, only include CWM.
Does this kernel work on original neo?

Hi, this kernel is a original kernel for neo v but neo´kernels working fine in neo v so this should work properly in Neo.

This kernel can be used for ICS ROM ??

yes , this kernel is mainly meant for ICS
there is a glitch in the CWM installed by this kernel : UNABLE TO MOUNT SD-CARD via CWM recovery , hope the version gets changed
(CWM installed by MIUI kernel works fine)

and i don't find any boot.img ????

download & flash that file it is the latest kernel v0.3 (marckernel0.3.img)
rename marckernel0.3.img to boot.img & flash it
* make sure you've set up fastboot files for flashing kernels...

You have boot.img file in update.zip of CM7/9, but for CM9 you need to install kernel from this archive: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23500988&postcount=386

I have a problem to install this rom
I was on stock rom! Now I have downloaded fxp 117 and unzip this. I have flashed this with CWM. It doesnt work! According to the description , there shoud be a folder called flashtool with the fxp kernel. But there is not a folder like this
Please can someone give me a link to the right cm7.2 kernel?
and do I need fxp 111 to install this? If yes ,where can I find this ?
PS: I have already searched , otherwise I would not ask here
