So, I've got a friend who's LED on his camera flashes as a notification. Its looks really cool and I'd love to see that on my phone. Is there a program that does that?

Actually, I might've found it here.

Sorry: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6771583&postcount=1
BTW: Just tested it and its awesome.
If the phone is fully charged (100% notification) the screen turns on.
Phone wakes up.
If i use it in dark sleeping room i (or my wife) wake up and get blind.
Is it possible to turn it off?

You could always just turn the phone over.......
ok... its in a docking station.
not possible to turn over.
is there a REAL solution for this known?
Turn the docking station in another direction... apart from that I doubt there being a solution right now

The S2 is the same with stock ROM. There is no way to disable that. Only way to disable that is to install custom ROM/kernel.
Find it in settings and change to .bak, or freeze it if you use titanium backup?

How is it dumb? The OP didn't say it was in a dock in his first post. It's only logical if you don't want to see the screen, to turn it over.
YOUR post, sir, was dumb.

That is correct. But rather than tell him to just turn it over, I would have kept my mouth shut.
I do hope the op does find a solution, then he can turn it back over.

I see someone has no sense of humor. Shame. No wonder the world is the way it is....
I would imagine there's a solution for this that can be flashed. Hope some dev can fix this..

you would have to root the phone, then use root explorer or titanium backup to do it. The file name's are USUALLY pretty easy to figure out what they do.

Yes it is. Its a low tech solution, but a solution nonetheless.
Get a flip cover or put a sheet of card/paper in front of the screen!

thanks for the "creative" ideas
But these things are not a solution, they are workarounds ^^
If there is nothing to deactivate it. hmm. bad.
lets see what happens with other roms which i'll try in future.

Yeah, sounds good in theory but I'd be worried it would damage the speaker.
Nah it be fine the louder the better lol
Every morning I wake up my phone is a different color. It's done this ever since I flashed KitKat. For example, last night it was dark blue and now it's magenta. I binged this problem but nothing came up. Is there an app or Xposed module to fix this? Or even another back cover that doesn't change color at least?

I don't mean to keep quoting your posts but the hilarity is near unbearable. You could try "hodor" on the XposedFramework, that worked for me.
[Edit] I recommend everyone start suggesting the use of 'hodor' for all the stupid little fixes. I reckon nobody will read the description anyone.

Thought I would share my mixer paths xml file. With louder speaker and headphones. Just replace in system/ect folder then reboot.I recommend you back up your file incase it don't work. (I used root Explorer)
Whether this mode is suitable for xperia z5 compact?
I'm honestly not sure.backup and try

this is what I did to make it louder. The only issue is you can't have the headphones louder then 75 percent because it will stop the music. But tbh it's too loud anyway
