Well I'm a heavy game player on my Droid x2. With the apperently 4 gigs of internal storage its just not enough. Is mnt/sdcard internal or external. Can I transfer the games to my 7 gig SD card? I need an explanation.

Hello everyone I rooted my nook using indirect I notice that whenever I download any app's they do not load to my memory card if I try and put them on the card they are removed from my nook.

Why do you want them on the sd card? The internal storage is more than enough for them to install there whilst having all app data being stored on the sd card.
I would like to have them on the card because I have not set up the nook internals memory to get the full 16gb.

Check your free space for applications. It should be something like twelve GB.

If you rooted with Indirects method then all your apps are being stored in the 12GB portion of the NT. There is nothing to set-up.
So there is no need for the 16gb memory card or can I add it to.

A lot of apps will store data on the SD card. Like large 3D games for example- some are 500MB to 1GB downloads to the SD card.
And of course you'll need it for books, music and movies as well.
I think the Market and Amazon app store require an SD card be present.
what is that path to the 12 GB?
So can anyone please tell me how to set up my memory card where I can move all of my downloads to it.

Are you talking about moving apps? If so, I believe B&N has removed the necessary parts of Android to do this. I don't know that anyone has been successful with it.

When i try to move applications from phone memory to usb memory it says that there is not enough memory. I have over 10gb free space. Enyone?

It transfers it to the external sd storage so if you don't have one inserted it won't work.

For some reason I have no space on my phone my music is taking 2gb the Android folder with all the games is taking 5gb not sure why. So I have an external sd card. How do I install the game data on the external sd card?

How can you move apps to sd card without root. Plus app 2 sd app says my old 16gb sd card I pulled from my evo 3d and formatted can't have apps moved any ideas besides root. However downloads from this forum are stored on this sd card. Maybe I'm missing something coming from an HTC device.

You can't, Samsung switched it up for the S3, apps are assigned to internal storage

May I ask why you want to move apps to your SD card? I don't think it would be possible to fill internal storage with apps that you actually used on a regular basis.

actually quite a few games now use between 500mb-1gb space... it can add up pretty fast if you install all those really good games running awsomely on the s3

Just asking I have the 32GB version here is another odd find. I use Amazon mp3 when downloading the songs from cloud storage it puts the songs on both internal and sd storage.

Anyone know how to actually move apps to the SD card? It seems for the Razr, it goes from the Phone to Internal Storage with is /SDcard I believe, not SDcard-ext which is the actual SDcard.
Asphalt 7's 1.36GBs of files is eating up my internal storage.
I can move apps, but it continues to tell me I'm low on storage.
