Yes, I used it for some time (I've used pretty much every ROM from here, save for some of the blurred ROMs, I hate blur since my blurred Motorola Quench)
I personally like the Paranoid Android ROMs, couldn't use any other since I've tried it, and probably will change to the new jellybean version in this weekend, but epinter's CM10 is pretty good, snappy and is very good and stable. I haven't used any of the new MIUI jelly bean builds, but I liked a lot when I tried the ICS builds (was using it before I learned about Paranoid Android). Try them all, just don't apply sbf files and you're set
Another thing, the community don't like much posts in another language, every once in a while I see posts in another language and it sucks to take it to google translate, so, if you're not confident enough with your english, just put it in Google translate and post with both languages.

Sim, eu usei por algum tempo essa ROM (usei praticamente todas as ROMs do xda, só as ROMs com blur que testei poucas, odeio o blur desde a primeira vez que usei, no meu antigo Motorola Quench).
Eu pessoalmente gosto da Paranoid Android, desde que testei pela primeira vez não consegui mais sair, e só tô esperando o final de semana pra atualizar pra versão JB. A CM10 feita pelo epinter também é muito boa, quando testei notei que é muito rápida e estável. Outra que não testei ainda os builds JB é da MIUI, mas gostei muito quando testei a versão com ICS (era minha ROM favorita antes de conhecer a Paranoid). Recomendo que você teste todas e veja qual você gosta mais, só não aplique SBFs (só em último caso) e tá feito!
E outra coisa, o pessoal aqui não gosta muito de posts em outra língua que não o inglês, é meio chato ter que pegar o texto que alguém escreveu e ter que levar pro google translate pra saber o que ele quis dizer, se você não se sentir confiante o suficiente pra postar direto em inglês, coloque o texto em português e a tradução do google translate junto

I bought the Thl W5 and he came with one white dead pixel and slower i expect.
To correct the problems i decided to flash the phone with the latest update from the THL website.
For my surprise the oficial ROM from the THL do not support the Brazilian Portuguese, only english and chinese.
Could someone backup and upload the international ROM that comes with my language?

Just few more questions? How would you compare thl w5 to zopo zp300+? Is w5 gps ok? Does it have that red led bug (that would prevent phone to deep sleep)? I'm really in doubt between them...

The multilanguage ROM came with the W5 from Pandawill and when i ask to THL about the ROM that i downloaded from THL's website they answered "Sorry but we only have English and Chinese on the W5" ?!
I Bought one W3+ and one W5. I can't compare with ZOPO because i've never tested one.
But between W3+ and W5 i think that is very important to consider that i used W3+ during 6-7 hours installing apps and configuring the cellphone and at the end of the day the battery still remains 89% !!!!!.
I haven't any issue about the led bug, but the GPS seems not working properly. I'll test and return to you.

Eu comprei pelo Chinavasion.com e fiquei mto contente com o thl w5, GPs td certinho a funcionar eu aconselho...não falo nas taxas pois o brasil nao é o meu país. abraço

It can be flashed with 'SP Flash Tool' Windows software (made by MediaTek). The firmware also contains Portuguese.

THL W5 and THL W3+
Olá rafobr.
Achei o W5 um aparelho muito bacana e com um visual bastante limpo (o que procuro em um telefone)
Não tive problemas até agora com consumo de bateria anormal e o carregamento se deu em torno de 1:45hs.
Quanto ao GPS ontem fiquei sabendo desse bug pela primeira vez e ativei o GPS no GMAPS, ficou um bom tempo procurando e e não estabeleceu uma conexão. Há de se levar em consideração que eu estava apenas ao lado da janela do apartamento e o tempo por aqui está nublado. Mas de qualquer forma isso nunca foi problema para meu Defy, continuarei testando para ver se realmente tem algo errado.
W3+ vs W5
Comprei um W3 para minha sobrinha e o W5 para mim. achei o desempenho dele(W3+), um pouco melhor, acredito que seja em virtude dele ter uma tela menor já que as características deles são quase idênticas, a ponto de que quando troquei a ROM e ela não vinha com diversos aplicativos, pude pegá-los direto da ROM do W3+.
Além disso o W3+, pelo tamanho fica melhor na mão, telefone de 4,7" fica muito grande e nem sempre dá para fazer tudo com apenas uma mão. Esse lance de tela cada vez maior é modismo que os fabricantes estão lançando e acho que já passou do limite.
Mas o que mais me impressionou como disse no outro post é a duração da bateria do W3+. Depois de um dia inteiro instalando uma série de aplicativos, testando e configurando ainda tinha 89% de carga !!! IMPRESSIONANTE !!
Comprei quando lançou e ficou em US$249. Sabemos como são os telefones chineses desses sites saem por um valor e caem rapidamente.
Comprei no Pandawill no começo de dezembro e chegou sábado passado. E sim foi taxado em 109,00.

É isso é comum, normalmente eu deixo ele instalar os apps na memória interna (8Gb) e no cartão de memória eu coloco meus documentos. Faço isso com meu tablet, na Google tv e nos telefones

(I am not an expert and not sure about the meaning of those expressions, I just wrote down that the prog showed.)

No there is no ROM at the moment except the official one.
And yes root is very easy.

The original rom has an excellent battery life but you have to root it, install play and remove all Chinese apps.
location of the original rom : google thl168.com
root and install play: google randomness0110.blogspot.nl or google Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18
remove apps: install Root App Delete or Root Uninstaller and fire at will with caution :fingers-crossed:

I think you can root it same way ZU international version . Just make sure they have same build ..

I've tried with 2 different methods, but get the root, you lose the TV plus win some bugs.
Well, when I get the TV hoping someone can make root in 6843, without side effects.

Eu não sou a pessoa mais indicada para responder. Me parece que ambos são LTE e trabalham na mesmas bandas. Ocorre que o firmware do C4843 possui algumas diferenças em razão da TV digital e talvez alguma outra coisa. Não sei se isso poderia acarretar em algum problema. Acredito que que funcione, sem claro a TV por inexistir o hadware. Mas há sempre um risco envolvido de estragar o aparelho, assim não vale arriscar, sem um conhecimento de como desfazer a possível bobagem.
Veja, eu fiz o root do C6483 usando kernel do 6833 e o celular funcionou, porém perdi a TV e alguns bugs apareceram.
Assim, o ideal é procurar saber com alguém com mais experiência e para isso, por aqui, tem que se falar em Inglês, vez que a maioria do experts, ao que me parece, não são Brasileiros. E neste quesito sou letra morta.
Portanto, lamento não lhe ajudar, com uma resposta segura e definitiva.

Voce pod testa sem problemas, se da algo pode instala qual quer outro rom o importante que seja C6833, e volta tudo normal.
Uma duvida, pq vc quer colocar o 43 no lugar do 33 ?
Posso passar/ fleshear /piscar , uma custom Rom do Z2 6503 no d6543 ? É para fazer isso tenho que estar com qual versão do Android e qual versão do twrp ? Posso passar todos os wipes ?

Sendo isto um fórum internacional o uso do inglês é obrigatório, podes falar noutro idioma mas tens de incluir, sempre, a respectiva tradução para inglês. Existem vários tutoriais aqui no fórum de como instalar custom ROM, basta pesquisar na aba "General". Caso não percebas inglês, existe sempre o Google tradutor que faz o trabalho por ti.

There are several tutorials here in the forum of how to install custom ROM, just search in the "General" tab. If you do not understand English, there is always the Google translator that does the work for you.
So recently, I have been made aware of a device called the Powkiddy X18. At first, I didn't want to have it at all. However, I saw people with it not having a good experience with it, so I decided to help. The device could not use Play Services (on the stock rom it would act bricked if they were installed). Without even owning the device, I guided a person through the process of backing up the partitions (using mtk-su since it's based on the mt8163). It was going well for a while, but eventually I started trying to make a device tree for building TWRP. All of my attempts for TWRP have bootlooped, except for one which made the device act bricked. I personally have not been able to get a bootloader unlock to work, but someone who did have theirs unlock (due to the fact they have contact with the company that made the software) said it gave the same result. I am kinda stumped.
I have seen mixed information on making device trees online. When I say device tree, I mean the one in devices/manufacturer/codename, not the things for the kernel. I am really confused and need some guidance on this. A guy who goes under the pseudonym Taki Maki(on Youtube under Taki Udon) has gotten the software maker to release a cleanish rom with Play Services to buy us some time. However, I'm so confused at what to do. I'm fine with not building TWRP and only building a rom since according to Taki, he talked to another person who built a rom for this chip and they said they couldn't ever build TWRP.

I'm particularly confused on how to find out what is needed for the rom to boot. I do have mountable backups of the system partition, but I'm still confused. The only similar device I know of that has a custom rom is on this Github https://github.com/mt8163. I thought it'd help me figure it all out but it hasn't. At this point, I only really care about building a clean lineage or aosp build since the cleanish rom still has some questionable software on it. I can test much faster now that I have gotten my own one.

Posso testar muito mais rápido agora que consegui o meu.

Olá eu gostaria de saber se você tem o backup original da rom deste dispositivo porque eu tentei atualizá-lo e eu não consegui, me ajude!!
