Just a heads up for everybody that Google Now works great on our Acro S. I installed the M7 version from this thread (flashed zip and manually copied GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk) over my rooted 6.1.A.2.45 and mapped it to my menu long press. Everything works (including voice search). The only problem (as documented in the original thread), is that when you hit the back button to exit out, it just hangs until you hit menu->refresh.

WOw.... i believe we all re so happy having ICS 4.0.4 on my mobiles!!! am now using ICS & i love it but tha toggles button like reboot, 2G/3G, bluetooth, wifi and so on in GB aint including.... i know many people would be happy to have dis on tha mobile. Also tha reboot function aint included in tha power options.
Developers should please do something.....

Paranoid android jb works great on my xperia neo v, and is an awaome rom how ever i don't like how google now works in it, the microphone is black and all those things which are of white colour in the real thing a are black here and it doesn't reply with audio all it does is display a card, for example when i ask the time it doesn't reply with audio and just displays the card
I am posting this here because i don't have enough posts, so i cannot post in the development section, so is there a fix to this problem? one thing which came to my mind was can you flash those google now files for ics to this rom, because i have used them and they work just fine on ics roms.

I already fixed by flashing gapps from the cm10 wiki, i am on v2.15 btw , this is a great rom the only thing now thats left to be fixed is video recording, i flashed both of the new patches but it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks DJ the new fix worked, ghe camcorder is working just fine. thanks to BESTTT also, i would like to tell one thing though after installing the fix i cannot use the camera ics app it forecloses, but thats okay i am using another camera app (zoom camera)

I myself started using Devswift's XNovathor ROm and found that it was extremely fast and smooth, but I still missed my Walkman
Now having a smooth Rom was more important than a few apps, So i decided to find ports

I saw it, but that one still having millions of bugs. I was trying the mine and works perfectly in stock 2.254
EDIT: Still thinking isnt necessary make a big thread with millions of different things... that the half dont work, better make simple things that works at first time... What do u think?

Did u look on the forum or on another one for the default apk? In that case it s not difficult, you just have to put it with root explorer in /system/app I think it should be good
