You can't flash the mini Roma...although hardware is similar...software isn't...mainly mount points and kernel compatibility
Other than that I can't help...maybe check out dastins compile gb/ics/jb threads

I wouldn't be able to do it or tell you how...I know you need to do it from source, major edits need to be done to the kernel, you need to create an ics device tree (I don't know how), and you need your proprietary files...need a device tree before you can get those though
All I know how to do is port Roms for versions of android that is already supported for my device by using premade device, kernel and vendor trees...

uh... no. it's not as simple as just copying some file and it works. You have to recompile the kernel and core stuff. Thought about working on Ginger but too busy to start another project.
Well what about the ls670 do you think it would be harder if they ported it the p500

Cm10 jelly bean for galaxy player 5.0

Im sure by the title of the message you were hoping to get a jelly bean rom for your 5.0 but this is a question about cyanogenmod 10 for the galaxy player 5.0 if anyone knows cyanogenmods ricardo then let him know Cm9aphla is looking for him.
And 2 more things
1. don,t try to start some argument with me because i'm very eager for the latest android os , since most of you are adults it would be very sad to step down to an 12 year old boys maturity level .
2. anyone know how to fix hardware acceleration bugs in the latest aokps and cm9 roms
I'm currently working on cm10 for the galaxy player 5.0

Wow really?!?! Thats so nice of you!!! <3 I have a USA Galaxy Player 5.0 if u need a tester. I never tested before so ill prob ask a lot of questions if u do want me to help test Btw do we still need a kernel to get Camera to work? cuz i really want camera to work badly on ICS/JB.
OT: To fix hardware acceleration, we need a ICS Kernel which we dont have yet. We need the kernel for hardware acceleration, camera, and bluetooth i think. Everything else is fine. I hope we can get the camera to fix soon. School is starting soon and I want to take pictures for memory purposes with my friends and schoolmates.

Really? it would be awesome to have a property kernel with ics. Share all ur progress
Not to great. I'm not having much luck with the kernel if I could get adb working that would be great. But I think i might try building the 2.0 kernel with stuff from the 3.0 back ported

If you build any CyanogenMod rom from source properly, it should give you a system.img file and a boot.img file amongst other things so we should get a kernel

Hmm.... I ported some roms to my device[based cm10, Take thacy,(KM-S220)], but I don't know how to port stock roms. I heard that porting stock rom is different from porting cm10 based custom roms.
Anyone can teach me how to port stockroms?
I include my phone's specifications
It updated ICS last year. Amd it's ICS kernel source was opened recently.
