I rooted with locked bootloader, and then supercharged. I could not get 100% charge level because I needed to mod framework.jar, which I can't do (and won't bother to learn). Anyway, I noticed that if you supercharge to 50% the home will get noticeably laggier for some reason.
So yeah, don't supercharge to 50%.

Rule of thumb, if you can't do it and you don't bother to learn, don't do it.

its because zeppelinrox is the author of supercharge, i guess if they have complaints on his work it should be posted on his forum and not on other forum.
besides the OP have no interest to learn.
True... Never supercharge ics over 50%, it will mess up the ram management. But this has been posted several times. There is a supercharge thread in the dev forum.

Hey, I was just trying to be helpful. I said that I noticed that if you supercharge without that file (services.jar actually, I got the two mixed up) you end up with worse performance and laggy home screen. So either mod that file (if you have the time to waste to learn how to do it then good for you, I don't have that time) and achieve 100% supercharging or there is no difference other than a laggy home screen. At least, that's what I noticed.
I did not ask you to mod my file or to explain me how to do it, I just said that I noticed a 50% supercharge would not give any improvement to the phone.
Anyway, to mr. richteralan, that's exactly what I'm planning to do. I've had it with Android. I'm either getting an Apple or a WP8 phone next year, and I'm selling the XS, because yesterday I noticed that this phone overheats and starts running slower than my old Xperia Ray, and several users confirmed that it happens on theirs too, and I think this is unacceptable (I've also had the tinted screen on this phone, which was replaced with a screen with way worse contrast and colors). The Xperia S has disappointed me on all fronts.
I've used Android phones for 5 years and I know all there is to know about them. Maybe I have been unlucky with the phones I choose, but time has proven to me that Android is just not worth the hassle, especially when you have a job and can't be bothered to waste hours upon hours on tweaking and modding and flashing. But that's another story.

Yea, I am sure you know all there is to know without learning anything or trying to do anything to the device. That's the sure-fire way to learn the ins and outs of a device. Doing things halfway and with little reading about how something actually works helps as well.
You must be a fun person to work with...
Anyways, enjoy your Iphone. I hope you can learn everything about it as well by doing nothing with it and without reading, good luck.

Nope. Thread's retarded and you should just accept that and see to its closure.
Some friends of mine here in venezuela write EXPIRIA WTF
Firstly, this isn't a complain, just a way to try to understand what's happening.
I noticed some devs (from the few we already have) are leaving.
What is the problem? Personal? Phone power? It was only a temporary phone? Users aren't being polite or thankful? Xperia S seems that won't have much developers, this was a fact since the beginning.
Since the beginning, FXP and Xperia AOKP team are here, but a few other devs doesn't hurt. Doing mods, other ROMS (I confess I'm jealous of the number of roms and mods on the Arc forum. Heck, I want that Pureness Rom so bad).
Again, only trying to understand, I AM NOT COMPLAINING.
"I got my values. So you can keep yours, OK?"
A Serious Issue!
Maybe because some users are complaining too much for the hard work they get for free. I think that we should praise our devs more and also that we should donate more. Development of a rom takes days/weeks. Not everybody can afford to do that totally for free. Maybe xda could offer a humble-bundle-like buisiness model for professional devs. (pay what you want). With that we could attract skilled and motivated people. And paying at least 1$ for a rom wouldn't hurt anybody but reward the developers.
Please don't attack me for that. It's just a suggestion. I know how hard development is. At the moment I also have maybe a 100 interesting projects, but I can't afford to realize them cause I don't get paid for that. And everybody needs to live from something.
people here doing those for free, and of course they have life too.. it's sad to see some few people just rant about their mistakes...if there's bug in the kernel/rom..report it, instead of ranting or venting anger :/
hope to see more development for our devices..
MAyB the user complain more & 4get to give credit to the DEV's who have put in hard effort to make it & sacrificed their useful time.
Maybe because they have gotten better phones than the Sony ones... But it is sad yes.. I would love a smooth and fast rom... But hope more devs will come... I have tried a little for my own and will maybe continue xsx kernel but I can't promise anything as I don't have much time because of my final masters degree assignment..
But we must hope for better days ..

Which, somehow, it's strange. Xperia X10 Mini/Pro, X8 are low end 2010 devices. They still have some active devs there.

Who's leaving? I'm not leaving, I'm temporarily studying
I think the MooDeD (what's the right capitalization in that) dev left, but I don't think we've lost much here. Doom is having a lot of problems IRL, and so do I for now. Jerpelea and Kali- are working on 8960 devices, me, Nick and Keiran on U8500 and AOKP for everyone, krabappel and others work on modded stock ROMs and stuff. What else do we really need? I mean, it would be great to see more skilled people here, but we're getting by as we are right now. Give Sony a month or two, and we'll get stable JB with all the stuff working*
* - likely except HDMI, Sony uses a custom protocol that's a PITA to reverse engineer, so it's not a priority.
P.S. Also, Xperia Nexus. If it's real and not Exynos (which I doubt), I'm totally getting it.

I can only say that I also find it embarrassing so see the hard work you guys put into what we (should) enjoy. I for one am extremely happy with your work and wouldn't think of "this button's too dark" or "your rom isn't sexy enough" or whatever.

This is a bit pessimistic don't you think? Devs can jump in and out all of the time. That list at the top could be totally different next week.
You are a little pessimistic Dev's come and leave that's there own choice, Tommorow it can be diffrent or in a week it can be also diffrent.

Point taken. Sheesh. What I'm trying to get across is that a nice little profile on each currently active developer, his/her projects, and (if possible) that project's status would be a very good sticky and limit the amount of newbs asking for ETAs and progress reports. If you can see who's working on what, people won't need to ask. Cleans up a lot of posts.
You mean the DEVS for the 5.0 only as far as I can see. Loll and I'm 100% with you safari.
