Why is there no forum? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The HTC Desire C is becoming a more and more popular low range handset, so why is there no forum or development for this phone? Apart from the few topics located all around XDA forums.
This devices needs development, so how do we get it?

Actually the development is what creates the forum, xda doesn't create a forum to attract development.
If you go on the device forum request thread, nicely list everything you currently have, they might just create a desire c forum for you! (At least that's how the optimus me got their own forum)

Android dev & OG android dev.

I'm sure this has been asked and apologize for the noobish question. But why did xda split the forums into the two sections Android development and original android development?
And why doesn't the original android development section show up in tapatalk?
To eliminate confusion on "kangs" and original work. Theirs a thread about it in the general section I believe. It should pop up if you save it under the favorite section

Okay thanks. I was just curious. It's kind of annoying. Lol but it makes sense.

Any word on AOSP/CM??

Has development dropped off or died for the OG, all I see is the same stock roms with mods. Not that I am bashing anyone, but others and myself enjoy Android as it was designed to be not butchered by the carriers and manufactures.

Hang out in the IRC channel and you will see people are still working on it. Other than that, when something does get done, you'll definitely see it up here.
Also, just a heads up, this is in the wrong section. Mods will be moving you soon...

This specific forum is for the i777 AT&T variant. May want to post in the general section of xda or google around.

What's the difference between this and the "Original" forum?

Not new to Android but new to carrier phones. I've been on Nexus devices the past few years and my Galaxy Nexus died in my hands last week. I picked up the One and I love it but I don't know which forum to start with. This is basically a Q&A but I think more than just me are wondering which forum to use. What do I need to know to start my flashing problem?

Original is AOSP roms.

Original if for stuff that hasn't been done before ie; original not the greatest place for this question though when it's answered in the stickies for every sub forum.

Thread moved. Questions don't belong in dev forums.

What happened to CleanROM?

I don't see it in the development section anymore?

It looks like the development forum has been split into carrier-specific forums. It's still in the AT&T forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451592
