If you can't find the correct forum for your model phone, then you should probably reconsider rooting or flashing or whatever it is you planned to do by coming here. The first thing you need to know how to do is SEARCH.
I don't usually flame anyone, and I won't really here either, but if you found this thread, don't you think you could find the correct one for you?

You have to do a full wipe first. And rename it... to something cool. "DRAGONS BLOOD" or something.

The worst part is 2 people thanked him for this post. I help people all the time and post in the correct section and I need to beg and plead to get someone to hit the thanks button....
Moral of the story I guess is to post something non development related in the dev section and while you might get trolled on, you will at least walk away some more thanks then when you started.....

Perhaps you should have bothered to read that this is the SGH-I777 forum before flashing, not the SGH-I727 forum? Flashing anything meant for I777 on I727 will kill the bootloaders and hardbrick the device. JTAG time for you - mobiletechvideos.com can probably help you.

You need a jig! google it. like was mentioned before mobiletechvideos might help you.
Next time don't be in a hurry and LOOK at the right forum. Its common sense, chief. You did something in haste and you're wondering why something went wrong!

Title says it all. I have seen plenty of "replacement" contact.apk files posted here. However, none of them seem to work with the stock ATT 4.0.4 ROM. Does any one have a stock contact.apk file that works with 4.0.4 or better yet, the actual procedure for removing the contact manually some how?

At&t never released a 4.0.4 rom for our device, tell me you have a skyrocket. As for your question it isn't possible without root

We are not being irrational. Flap asked that all his works be closed and links pulled. He has left XDA, as has his projects. I'm sure that with some Googl-idge you can find his works.
