Sorry it took me a while to respond... i forgot all about this thread
Go to Phone.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi/ and replace both phone_photo_default.jpg & phone_photo_default_oncall.jpg
with the pic you want, try to make it the same size or close to it... or atleast a perfect square. (448px448px)

Thanks.
He means to open the phone.apk that is in system/app/phone.apk. Within that apk is the file structure you need to follow from him. It should be in the same place on any ROM.

Does anyone know where the built in screenshot's audio file is? I have removed everything from system/media and system/customize.
I don't see a "screencapture.apk" in /app like there was on the EVO 3D.
Any help would be appreciated.

My guess would be /system/media/audio/ui. There's a file called camera_click.ogg that probably does it.
Edit: Scratch that. Just tested it and it doesn't change anything.

Yep, I have removed ALL audio files from /media (exception being the one ringtone, one notification sound and one alarm sound I use).
I've dug through all the system folders, so i'm assuming it's in an apk...just not sure which one. I've looked through framework.res.apk, settings.apk, systemui.apk...etc. not sure which others it might be in.
Bump? Very annoying....

There's a good vB mod that does just that. Maybe the admins would consider installing it.

Not too much theming, I've looked everywhere to change my bubble colors and most zips I've found weren't working. Here's one made from stock messenger app on the Galaxy Note. http://db.tt/Ao40ZDFN
REMEMBER: Make a .bak of your old MMS.apk push it to /system/app and in case it doesn't work just revert to your old one, if it fails to work PM me your MMS.APK and I will make a new one for your specific ROM.
Don't forget to hit the thanks!

Getting the bubbles back is an easy fix. Using an app like Root Explorer, make your way into System, then the CSC folder. In here, you'll see customer.xml. Rename this file to customer.xml.bak, and restart. Voila, notification bubbles!

Is there maybe something lines that in Customer.xml to activate the bubble, but allow us to kill the instruction?
Just for the information, I'm running CleanROM 3.5, and I don't get the tutorial notifications. Might just be ROM specific. I don't know what lines in the actual .xml file trigger the notification bubbles, I just know that this method helps to get them back. Sorry, guys!

It is the existence of Customer.xml itself that hides the bubbles. You can delete the contents of the file and it still doesn't bring back the bubbles. There is probably a settings line that needs to be added to show them.

On a rooted Stock ROM you can freeze the Help 1.0 application inside of TitaniumBackup. After a reboot you will have to go through the three lock screen tips once more but then you should not see them again.
