I have an issue with my messaging app where it just randomly pops up with "messaging is sending to many messages do you wish to allow" or something like that and anyway was just wondering am I the only one who gets this? I'm running paranoid android 1.992. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot

So I'm using gosms as my text app and it has a weird issue....
very randomly it'll send a person a text that i've sent that person in the past. i'll simply open the app and see a message that I sent to someone that I originally sent weeks ago. how do I fix this?
first off wrong section belongs in q & a.
now to answer your question try clearing the davlik and caches. if it doesnt work do a fresh install.
Not sure if it helps....
I use go SMS and have not had this issue. Could it be a message that never sent, and now is resending?
I would try the above and a clean install. Good luck.

The only issue I ever had with gosms is there adds that show up as go chat messages.

Every so often I get a different on screen google message during phone calls; e.g. "you lost me at java" or, currently, "what a wonderful world."

That should not be any part of the rom. Sounds like you have a rouge app causing this.

Here is a cropped screenshot during a call with the contact info cut out. I realized that it only happens when I'm calling a contact whose gmail I have stored.
Might it possibly have something to do with gchat or the gapps package?

I have an S3 on stock rom 4.1.2. My messaging app keeps malfunctioning. When i open it, it says no messages. It wont send my message too sometimes. Please help.

You can disable the option called send seen status in settings page of viber, but disabling that will render you unable to see others seen status also.

As king_below_my_lord said, you may disable this feature completely under the 'More' tab. Please note that once you disable this feature, the action cannot be undone for 24 hours.
